>By the way. What is Heaven like?

No reliable data.

Anecdotes abound, but facts are elusive.

>God may not drive your car for you, but He decides if it will be the means by which He takes you Home.

There is no good excuse for premature death. Many have tried to justify it, but it’s a personal thing with no formal backing by facts.

Still havent seen a pic where I can read the orange work sign off the shoulder by truck lane. It looks like three words...maybe flag first word. Those tire tracks look like start at the edge of the shoulder and go straight perpendicular

Jesus mentioned that the people who died when the Tower of Siloam collapsed did not die because of sin. They died because they happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

God cares about even tiny things but for the most part he allows us free will. A preacher who is much more knowledgeable than me once said that God still performs miracles but not like the early days of the church.

He said it was necessary back then to allow the infant church to grow.

Very nice words.

The delivery thereof is critical to its origin. Facts divide fools and the learned.

Sorry to focus on this one particle, but it predates all others...just look at the islamic filth church and see why such a statement is invalid.

Let’s just say this...DNA was biased programmed and the somewhat expected followed. Logic allows for such an intervention due the enormous possibility of failure left to chance.

But then you have to accept infinity....it allows for ANYTHING.

Maybe you are just too brilliant for me to understand but your last few posts don’t make a bit of sense to me.

...thinking maybe van didn’t have seatbelts which is why so many people died.

Yep, the mini Bus other than the front end doesn’t look too bad. But un-belted bodies kept moving at 60 mph when the bus came to a dead almost instant stop. So sad.

My apologies. I am NOT brilliant at what God wants. I do have a very clear understanding of true and false logic and how it interacts with making decisions. My soecialty is machine code and assembler with a break from the detail with a C interface.

I just recently graduated to quantum multi state logic and have begun to think in ways that were fuzzy in my youth but are becoming clearer now with added dimensions.

I just hope to live long enough to help.

I am not against divine intervention. I have just never seen any. I went to the Gettysburg battlefield and stood there quietly. I cried.
The magnitude of dead Christians over that 3 day carnage convinced me there was no intervention there or ever. 25,000 young mostly Christian men dead. 50,000 casualties. 500,000 American men in WWII ? 21,000 bomber pilots and crew over Germany and France? Where was God’s intervention? I remind you, I do not argue God’s existence.

At age 70, I can tell I am not as sharp as I once was. I took the GRE a few years ago and scored 1280. Not a bad score but I once would have done much better.

Probably did as well on verbal as ever but when I got to the math portion, I kept coming across problems that as soon as I saw them, I knew that I knew how to solve them but when I tried to, could not remember how. Math was always my strong point too.

One of my best friends is president of Mensa for a large area. He has tried to get me to join but I am not certain that I could pass the test now. When younger I nearly always would score 99th percentile on achievement tests.

Wow!
How can any Christian think God is very removed from us?

He literally said “over my dead and resurrected body will I allow humanity to go to hell”.

Most folks don’t know that Satan has to get permission from God to do evil. It’s how it works in the spiritual realm, which is far more real than our puny 2-D VR realm.

If those who were killed in this tragedy were saved Christians, I can easily promise you that they don’t want to come back here.

You seem to have the humble gene. That is good in my mind.

It’s not so much what one knows, but what they are open to learn...as long as logic applies.

As we age what we lose in IQ which is essentially a measurement of processing speed and ability to manage abstractions, we gain in Wisdom.
