I’ll try and make this quick :-) ... I often wonder if these stupid “zero tolerance for violence” laws out there are related to liberals running their mouth.
A late, great friend of mine was a WWII vet. He used to hang out at a local dive bar. I’d talk with him a lot. He used to call me “computer head motherf***er”. That was my nickname he bestowed upon me and I’ll cherish it forever (he passed away about 5 years ago). Despite the 45+ year age difference, we could relate on many issues ranging from politics to idiots :-).
One night, some strangers were at the bar. The subject of 9/11 came up. Everyone is a professor on everything once you’ve had a few beers you know :-). One of the strangers went on a rant about how bad this country is and how the “Pillars of Greed” were an obvious target.
This didn’t sit well with my WWII vet friend. He was a pretty big guy and still a person you wouldn’t want to mess with despite being in his 80s. After a profanity laced rant and several death threats, the two “visitors” (then in their 20s) RAN from the bar.
My friend said (I’m paraphrasing ... mostly) “You see, that’s the problem these days. A couple of decades ago, a moron would say something like that, get their asses beaten senseless, and they’d realize the errors of their ways. Now a days, any hair brained faggot with an attitude can say anything they want and they get away with it unless you want to sit in jail for a night and pay fines.”
Of course, he was at an age where fines wouldn’t have mattered much ... he flat out wouldn’t have paid them. He went back to drinking his beer and harassing me for being Polish.
I wouldn’t be surprised if liberals went on that “zero tolerance” spree for just that reason ... preventing their useful idiots from becoming totally useless having been beaten up a few times for spewing their nonsense, half assed views on life.
