It's not yet clear whether the owner wants it back, but Limestone County authorities recovered a stolen gun when it fell from an inmate's body cavity during a search at the jail.

Jesse O'Neal Roberts, 23, of Elkmont, was being booked into the Limestone County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication when the weapon fell from his body, said sheriff's spokesman Stephen Young.

Years ago it was said that some Colt .45 owners had the front sight removed so it would not hang up on fast draws.
Another assured me the front sight was removed so if someone took it away from you, the sight would not cut you when they shoved it up your a$$.

As an Alabamian that has been to Elkmont....I’m not surprised...grossed out...but NOT surprised...something is and has been wrong with Elkmont ever since the boobie bars for truckers went up there...although I doubt this guy went to them, lol...Truckers from up north and guys with guns up their...yeah, whatever...multiculturalism within America...it doesn’t work anywhere. Close the boobie bars for truckers and this won’t happen anymore. Sorry, truckers, but you’re the only reason Elkmont has them, and you know it.
