Good piece by Jarrett. He spells out how people can be prosecuted under federal law for harboring illegals.

"Any person who, knowing that an alien has come to the U.S. in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection such alien in any place, including any building… shall be imprisoned not more than 5 years.” (8 U.S. Code, section 1324)

Don’t bet on it Greg! The immigration law Trump based his eo’s on are just as clear and we saw how that went.

I’m sure the liberals will find friendly, liberal judges who will block the order.

Gregg Jarrett appears to be the replacement for Judge Napolitano.

These mayors should be arrested. In fact, start out by arresting the cops who follow the mayors’ orders and the state police who follow the governors’ orders.

Good to know, jazusamo. This law states that we can also go after landlords who rent to alien invaders. I’d give landlords 30 days to kick invaders out from rentals, and then start seizing rental property.

I vaguely remember one rule they might be able to use. Something about how if a certain district doesn’t take federal funds, then the sheriff in that district has the right to kick out federal agents. It’s been a long time since I read about it, though.

That would be funny to watch, given that sanctuary cities tend to be stuck on the government teat.

Democrats are putting illegal, criminal alien invaders ahead of honest tax-paying citizens.

Why aren't Republicans seizing on this? This is a tailor-made issue for them.

The law is whatever the judge says it is. If 8 U.S. Code, section 1324 stands in the way, it will be ignored or interpreted in light of some other judicial precedent to arrive at the desired outcome.

And to top it off, the judge will say this outcome is compelled either by law, or by the clear language in the constitution.
