Get on with it. Talk... talk... talk... No-Action-Sessions.

Furthermore, arrest the mayors and governors harboring illegal aliens. It's your job!

Quite frankly, I think Sessions is just another empty-suit politician collecting a paycheck.

It is contract law. Present the contract and it is pretty straight forward. Basically if they want the money they have to comply.

Another thing the feds should do is flood these cities, counties, and states with federal auditors to check with a fine tooth comb that all requirements were met for each grant/loan.

AG Sessions, that is not your job. You should concentrate on prosecuting the criminals. Specifically identify those that are deliberately and proudly bragging about harboring illegal aliens. Throw the SOB in jail. It is the fair way to deal with the problem rather than the broad brush approach you suggest, which is a financial funding issue and outside your bailiwick.

Okay, I'm not an attorney so this will likely need re-wording; but...

... how about the Trump Admin working with Congress to produce an aggressive law assigning federal civil liability to state and local lawmakers whose illegal sanctuaries protect, foment and abet crimes such as rape and murder and etc committed by illegal aliens?

Objective?

Make it so crime victims and their families can sue the britches off those politicians who enable crime via conspiring to protect and abet criminal aliens and thus encouraging further crimes.

It’s their choice: carrot or stick. Comply with the law or no carrot. If that doesn’t work, to the stick.

There is no rebuttal or riposte to our position: follow the law. The only response available to them is pathos and it is ... pathetic.

“{Three of the federal statutes that are specifically applicable to state and local officials and others who may be violating federal law include:

8 USC section 1324 (a) (1) (A) (iv) makes it an offense for any person who encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowingly or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of the law.

You mean to tell me that Sessions is FINALLY gonna do something?

FINALLY? Sessions took the oath of office on February 9th, less than 6 weeks ago. He is still trying to get the rest of his team on board as they must also go thru the confirmation process. His top deputy, Rod Rosenstein, has yet to be confirmed.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is finally letting the nomination of a top Justice Department official advance, after refusing to schedule a vote because he had not received sufficient information on the ongoing Russia probe.

The committee announced Friday that it will take up the nomination of Rod Rosenstein for deputy attorney general at its business meeting on Monday. Grassley had complained the administration was stonewalling his requests for more information, and earlier this month said he would not schedule a vote for Rosenstein until he was briefed by the FBI.

Sessions is a great appointment and he will enforce immigration law. The installation that he has been dragging his feet is pure nonsense.

I think that is a good idea. Lift sovereign immunity of illegal they harbor. Once an attachment is served, crimes after that are the direct liability of the city. This sanctuary crap is GOING TO STOP!!

“Just do it!”

Some previous Court rulings favorable to Illegals are partially rooted in the fact that the Feds showed no clear intent of cleaning up illegal immigration. As such, states and municipalities shall allow access to schools, social services, etc to Illegals.

Since the federal dollars that are certain to be withheld often fund those social programs, voicing intent to enforce the law is an important message to those parties who might have missed -or would like to disregard- the election results. There is a new Sherif in town, and the law will be enforced.

“I want arrests!”

Here’s a clear example of an enabling law breaker, 8 USC section 1324 (a) (1) (A) (iii).

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/03/06/oregon-judge-accused-helping-illegal-immigrant-escape-under-investigation.html

“An Oregon judge is being investigated for allegedly helping an illegal immigrant evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in January, by letting the DWI suspect slip out through her own private entrance.

The Jan. 27 incident could land Judge Monica Herranz in serious trouble if she is shown to have helped Diddier Pacheco, 22, escape her Multnomah County courtroom as federal agents waited outside to deport him.

“This individual was allowed to leave that courtroom through a doorway that is not a public doorway, and which ultimately led to his ability to leave the courthouse undetected by ICE,” said U.S. Attorney Billy Williams.”

Legal goo goos like this one should be made to understand, after the last several years of lawlessness, that compliance with federal immigration law isn’t, at their discretion, optional.
