Sunday on NBCs Meet the Press, Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) said it was not a Christian thing to build a border wall to stop undocumented immigrants from coming into the United States because he said they were children of God and, They should be treated that way.
Brown said, The wall to me is ominous. It reminds me too much of the Berlin wall. When I see that 30-foot wall I worry somehow are they trying to keep me in or keep them out? I really think people ought to be careful because theres a lot of odor here of kind of a strong man, a kind of a world where you want the ultimate leader here to be doing all of this stuff, and having a wall, locking the people in is one of those characteristics. I think America ought to be very careful when we make radical changes like a 30-foot wall keeping some in and some out.
...
He added, We are going to do the right, human and I would even say the Christian thing from my point of view. You dont treat human beings like that. That is not what Trumps supposed to be Mr. Religious Fellow and I thought we had to treat the least of these as we would treat the Lord. So I hope he would reconnect with some of his conservative evangelicals and theyll tell him that these are human beings and theyre children of God, they should be treated that way.

Well, lookie who’s now the nation’s leading authority on Christianity.
And this Berlin Wall nonsense. One more time, because Libs are very slow learners:
The Berlin Wall was built to keep people IN
The Trump Wall is being built to keep people OUT.
The difference is significant. People wanted to escape East Germany because “progressive” policies have such horrific effects on actual humans.
People risk their lives every day to get to the United States to enjoy what little freedom we have left.
Since when did godless liberals ever care about any religion except Islam?
It’s amazing how some politicians suddenly discover Christianity when it suits their purposes.
Here’s a Bible verse that many of them seem unaware of:
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. - 2 THESSALONIANS 3:10
Or how about this: Thou shalt not covet... - Exodus 20:17
How to change Moonbeam’s mind in 30 seconds. ‘Governor, we’ve decided to build a high speed rail line along the border with Mexico and we need your signature for the safety barriers.’
He’ll have no problem with a 30 foot wall in that case.
Throw evolution back at them. For example: Let Evolution take it’s course by removing Social Programs. Let the inferior among us die out so Nature can select them for extinction.
Make them live by their own rules. That’s what they are doing to us.
Moonbeam...... you don’t get it
The wall is neoreformation
Is a security fence “un-Christian”? Is locking your house-door at night un-Christian? I mean...you are keeping people who might desperately need to steal something from you from doing so.
This brown stain is an embarrassment to humanity and civil society.
Remember that Brown is a former “Jesuit seminarian”, much like the current Pope. This means that having an actual belief in God and the doctrines of the Catholic church are rather low among their priorities.
By that argument the whole world gets to come here, which is what the progs and Soros want anyway.
Tell us more. Preach it, Brother Jerry.
Welcome to AMERICA NEW AMERICA
Well, whether he does or not, I wonder if the house he stays in during the week has a wall or fence around it.
I'd bet the farm it does.
...Or one of those folding walls. Good point!
I’m surprised he didn’t burst into flames and get struck by lightning the second he said the word “Christian”.
His atheist and spirit-cooking followers may well pull his skin off.
(not that I’d actually wish any evil upon the bastard)
Hey, Jerry Brown...we wanted a Governor for all the people of California, not a watered down version of Pope!
These are the same people who demand separation of "Church and State." They go to court to demand that crosses be taken down. And don't even think about posting the 10 Commandments on the walls in the California Senate and Assembly.
