What scares me the most is she may have been acquainted with her killer, and viewed him as a human thesis or fixer-upper. She was likely a sweet-hearted girl who wanted to change the world without understanding it first.

True, but not as bad as SE. The danger in NE is the same as the danger in NW, only the percentages are higher. I've spent a little time in the east part of NW and the same problem exists. I go into the convenience store with the bullet proof glass and hold the door for a couple people. I ask myself are they thinking I am just being polite, or am I dissing them in some way?

I agree with your post entirely. It’s why I do not believe there should be no control at all- none. Feminism is all about being a victim. being an armed woman is all about not being a victim.

That's exactly how NW is, only it is marginally safer (and only marginally in the less expensive parts of NW). Why anyone would live in either is a mystery to me.

This reminds me so much of the women in David Horowitz’s life, as he recounted in “Radical Son,” two of whom were murdered by black criminals. Lib women never, ever learn.

She did not bother to characterize perpetrators. In America, a black person is about 100 times more likely to murder a white person than a white person is to murder a black person.

When my Hippie-Lib brother (Oregon based) was visiting us a year ago, I said something about San Bernardino and he said ‘what happened in San Bernardino?’. He hadn’t heard anything about the terrorist attack. Of course, he only watches the Lib news stations. And when I told him what had happened, he said ‘oh, I don’t worry about that. I don’t believe it will ever affect ME’. Typical Lib. Really no thought for those murdered. Only worries if it ever actually gets close to them. I’m sure this SJW thought her ‘selflessness, compassion and goodness’ would insulate her from harm. Horrible comeuppance.
