I still think a clean kill bill is the only way to go.

What Ryan had was never going to pass and I think he knew it. He had two other fail safe parts of the bill. If either one failed the whole bill was basically neutered. He had to have known that and had to have designed it that way for obvious reasons. He never wanted it to pass.

I think Trump figured that out after it was too late.So the patriot he is he worked as hard as he could bringing in House members by the dozen so no on could say he didn't try hard.

He tried as hard as he honestly could. But in the end he made sure it was known to everyone that this was now Ryancare. I think Ryan also may have stopped the vote since if Trump had another week, kept bringing in house members at the rate he was, Ryan realized it might pass. He didn't want that so he stopped the vote along with Pence's help. Remains to be seen if they even told Pres. Trump or not.

Trump is as smart as we ever could have elected,he will be a great potus.

Well I think they needed two bills:

A fiscal bill (defunding) can use all the reconciliation features and only needs 51 votes in the Senate. Once passed, the RATs have nowhere to go. All the "Obamacare" employees will have no jobs.

And Jordan's bill, which lays out all the proper statutory repeals and reforms that returns regulation of domestic carriers to the states, allows carriers to market actual insurance, and allows them to compete across state lines.....and provides for good HSAs.
