He wanted me to wear a burka and you can imagine back in that day I had no idea what a burka was and , well I just refused.

About eight years later, I was married and had my first child. The Iranian hostage crisis became a big deal and I pondered where I would have been had I married that guy.

He was very handsome though. If that matters.

And he made yogurt, using cheesecloth in his kitchen sink.

Just a silly memory.

Then Jimmy Carter....worst president ever.

Yeah I raised an eyebrow on that one, too. I think there's some debate on when Gen Z starts. Some say AFTER 2000 others peg it at 1995. I think 2000 would be a better start year. One other fact is it is still ongoing, in other words, babies born tomorrow would still be Gen Z’ers.

Here's a chart that shows they are a very large segment, and it was done in 2014 (three years ago, so add 12 million):

In your chart, note how the first date of 2012 is already fives years behind us. So the first crop of Baby Boomers, born in 1946, are already 71 years old. Time flies!!!!

Sure!

What caught my eye:

•A 2016 American study found that church attendance was 41% among Generation Z, compared with 18 percent for Millennials at the same ages.

In a time when so many Leftist teachers and SJW* Millennials at colleges are heavily anti-Christian, that to me is a very encouraging statistic!

Now most of these kids aren’t in college yet, but from what’s being said, they HATE SJWs and contribute a lot of anti-SJW comments on YouTube, Reddit and other social media. As soon as enough start college, expect to see a lot of push-back.

I agree, Trump is going to see the incredible incompetence in the Congressional GOP, and the incurable internecine battles within, and turn to the Democrats. The Democrats are waiting for this...they will draw him in, and slit his throat (not literally). His political career will come to a very bad end when this happens. His greatest problem...now that he has been shown as somewhat by defeat and by the poor choice of “hiring” Paul Ryan to lead the Obamacare bill, instead of his own administration...a good half of the Congressional GOP want his political blood on the ground too.

Thank you for the link, this is the third time I heard it. And I was right.

At 5:35 you can hear Jordan state what I said, that they wanted community rating and guaranteed issue removed from the bill, the two biggest killers of affordable insurance.

Walice says, “Well if you only insure healthy people, you’re going to have really low premiums” (what an idiot) That’s what we want, and how insurance works.

At about 6:20, Walice accusing him of wanting to take out the HRP money and Jordan denies it.

I found not one thing wrong with anything Jordan said, Walice didn’t have his facts straight or outright quoted the RAT positions. I saw no discomfort other than Jordan was getting a little hot under the collar with Walice, and probably trying to restrain himself.

The more I see of today’s FReeper commentary, the more hope I have that bill may still have some life in it, and the more I am beginning to appreciate the HFC’s efforts.

Back to RYNO and the RINOS, of all things, they should have given the HFC the removal of GI and CR. Then they probably would have voted for it.

Maybe it can still happen.

I urge everyone to go back and look at your link. Best part of the show.

I still think a clean kill bill is the only way to go.

Well I think they needed two bills:

A fiscal bill (defunding) can use all the reconciliation features and only needs 51 votes in the Senate. Once passed, the RATs have nowhere to go. All the "Obamacare" employees will have no jobs.

And Jordan's bill, which lays out all the proper statutory repeals and reforms that returns regulation of domestic carriers to the states, allows carriers to market actual insurance, and allows them to compete across state lines.....and provides for good HSAs.

Nine out of 10 Medicare recipients have supplementary/gap insurance. AARP makes a bundle on it.

I heard an Italian woman discussing her government run health system. Proud as hell of it....well of course, I have to have supplemental coverage, everyone does.

HELLO!

That "poll" is a sure indication of too many americans listening and reading the old stream media where everything reported has a RAT agenda.

One of the last polling organizations on the planet I would believe is USA Today, along with CNN and MSLSD

Lol, you’re right. But it seems every Republican, even including Jim Jordan, is just not willing to come out and say people with pre-existing conditions MUST be put in high risk pools. Otherwise, you can kiss goodbye bringing down premiums and deductibles.

I was listening to Chrissy Prissy on magic radio on my way home this after..no visuals. Interviewing Jim Jordan , he sounded like an hysterical Valley Girl.
there were more butbuts than an over revved motor.
A pathetic human being.

Paraphrasing Mark Steyn, Americans want all the benefits the welfare state can offer, but they don’t want Swedish tax rates to pay for them. And our politicians make them think it is perfectly reasonable to be able do it. We have a $20 trillion national debt and entitlement programs that represent over $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

Every time I underestimate Trump I am surprised at how good he really is. He may negotiate better than we know. Even with the hard left.

Yeah, good catch. Matthews is getting more and more emotional the older he gets. In a few more years he won’t be air worthy.

Exactly and many are quoting a much higher figure than 100 billion. If we don’t start the numbers going the other way our worthless dollar will be a historical currency.

Thanks for the info. I saved the graph. I wonder what the demographic make-up is by race and ethnicity. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities as classified by the USG. Right now, one in four children attending public school speaks a language other than English at home. Demography is destiny.
