Biden: I regret not running for president

By Brooke Seipel - 03/25/17 04:55 PM EDT

Former Vice President Joe Biden late Friday night said he regretted not running for the presidency, predicting if he had secured the Democratic nomination he could have won against Donald Trump.

"I had planned on running for president and although it would have been a very difficult primary, I think I could have won,” he said. “Maybe not, I don’t know.”

"I was fairly confident that if I had become the Democratic nominee, I would have had a good chance to be president," Biden continued.

“Do I regret not being president? Yes,” Biden said. "I was the best qualified."

I dont think the womens vote thing did anything for HRC.
She got those people anyway.
And the MSM is in it for the $, and would have praised Biden just as hard.

Prior to any presidential election, the democrat, any democrat, has several huge advantages:

1. Dems have virtually perfected all aspects of voter fraud and wield it with abandon.
2. The dishonest media will be 100% doing their bidding throughout the entire campaign.
3. The dem will receive total support from popular culture.
4. The plantation underclass they’ve created and maintain will vote 85%+ for the dem.

It’s a lot to overcome.

Maybe so. I think it would have been a very different campaign if Biden was the nominee.

Sanders certainly quit after it became clear that he couldn’t beat Hillary plus DWS, plus the DNC, plus Brazile, plus the Super-Delegates, etc.

I kind of feel the same way as Joe. I think if I had run on the Republican ticket I could have won it all. Like Trump, I have no prior experience in government and am a white guy. And I never got caught on a live mike talking about grabbing, well, kitty cats. Yeah, I could’ve won.

(Do I REALLY need a /sarc????)

I “regret” that this life-long mediocrity get any public pension. What a waste of money.

My greatest fear was Biden as the candidate.

Hilary was seen as crooked and in ill health.

Sanders won the Democratic nomination. He was outright defrauded of his victory.

He “gave up” at the convention after having shown up with bruises on his face and a sudden look of primal terror in his eyes.

Agree with you on that! Biden is one of those people who would have floundered outside of his DC haven. He is fundamentally dishonest, and has no marketable skills that I’m aware of.

If he would had gotten the nomination...

The democratic primary would have been even more blatantly rigged in Hillary’s favor. Whatever you may think of Biden, he excels at the one-to-one schmoozing that would win him rust belt and working class voters and that Hillary has no capacity for. Bernie wouldn’t lose as much support as Clinton would stand to lose and the Obama camp would be fighting a proxy war with the Clinton camp. It could have been a lot of fun to watch.

‘He “gave up” at the convention after having shown up with bruises on his face and a sudden look of primal terror in his eyes.’

Agree with you that but for the Super-Delegates and fraud, Sanders won. I read that his wife’s wellbeing was threatened. This is the first I’ve heard of the bruises and fear—but I wouldn’t doubt it. Arkancide is real.

Look at it this way Joe: You’ve got all the time in the world now, to welcome your widowed daughter-in-law into the family as your new daughter-in-law.

Bruises? That’s interesting! Any second independent sources corroborating?
