“Let Obamacare fall on its own.”

You don’t understand...it CAN’T collapse, for the same reason Republicans CAN’T get rid of it. It will carry on until in a couple of years the people of the United States DEMAND single payer. The Democrat congress in 2019 will pass it and wait for President Hillary to sign it in 2021. Until then, the Republicans will dutifully, like the good Controlled minions they are, print bonds for the Fed to buy up to float it along until then. If you give people and insurance companies and the medical industry money, they will do what you want.

Welcome to Soviet America...it was born for good today.

It was a step to stop Obamacare. It will not go away. It’ll just get funded. I didn’t like parts but this wasn’t the final bill to be signed

Exactly. Better to take some time to get it right. This is not Nancy Pelosi’s party. The people’s representatives need to work out something that will work for the country.

Well, if some representative would just resubmit the prior repeal bill, we can find out

I’m not convinced of that. Besides, it will be worth waiting for.

Do you realize if we passed a bad bill, it would be the law of the land for eight more years.

IMO < we dodged a bullet.

I did not know about Elaine Chow's tweet. When did that happen?

You have no right to health insurance!! Go to the ER. It is not my fault!! Obtain education— then a good job or start a business == then buy whatever you want that is legal!! I don’t want to buy it for you. I am trying to take care of ME and MY FAMILY— Not you!!

...It's beginning to seem that single payer is the only answer, with people being able to choose their provider and hospital.

If you think single payer is going to solve all the problems I give you two examples of single payer in this country. Medicare and the VA. Both are horrible. Medicare does allow you to select your provider, however the deductibles and co pays have exploded and the allowed procedures has shrunk tremendously. For instance ones that affect me and my wife are no mammograms after 50 (maybe it is 60), no PSA, only half of what use to be normal in an ob-gyn is now allowed, etc., etc. We have lost about 30% of what used to be insured and at least double and in some instance triple the costs. My co pay for prostate has jumped from $10 to $50 in two years.

>> People want cheap, access to any doctor and/or procedure, and cover everyone.

I shouldn’t have to pay $22k for a less-than equivalent plan that cost me $15k before the ACA. I’ll take $15k/year which isn’t being cheap.

The cost of covering the ACA mandate is hidden to most people through layoffs of others and the self-employed. The Democrats literally terminated my good plan forcing me onto the ACA, I’ve been dealing with Obamacare head on, and it totally sucks very much like the lying, deceitful Democrats.

Destroy the ACA!!!

LOL!

Get back on your Meds and don’t post on FR until you’re a good 7-10 days stable.

This is a skirmish in a protracted WAR. Trump is, and will be, just fine.

Congrats to u.

I’m now hearing on Fox News that the GOP will now work with RATs
to fix Obamacare, which means more funding.

Obamacare will not be allowed to collapse.

Many of us warned about that.

Bingo. Freepers can celebrate today; they won’t be celebrating in short order.

I'm sure President Trump would veto it sometime during those two years.

"***This is a disaster for Paul Ryan, not for President Trump.*** Oh yes it is, because he put his eggs in the Ryancare basket. He tried to shut out, then insulted the members of the Freedom Caucus. This bill would have screwed Vets, the very people he promised over and over to help."

Plus, Trump earlier said that Ryan should stay as Speaker even if the bill failed and Fox News just reported that Trump called the Washington Post and said he "does not blame Paul." If these reports are accurate, Trump has bound himself to Ryan.

***Ryan needs to go!
Trump’s mistake was to believe Peebus and Ryan. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE! Trump should have insisted that Ryan put the 2015 Repeal and Replace bill in front of Congress instead of RyanCare.***

Just remember, Ryan was on his way out from being Speaker, and Trump backed him and helped put him back in. That was his true mistake. But if he is as calculating as everyone says, then that means he wanted Ryan was Speaker. Not good.

BULLS***!

Trump listened to the people, to the conservatives, and had the STONES to order the Congress to pull this misbegotten bill before it destroyed the Rep Party forever!

Trump is a ******* hero!

“This disaster is amplified by the fact the vote did not go forward and put these weasels on the record.”

LOL. The reason it didn’t go forward is that Paul Ryan was embarrassed by how few votes it would get.

The repeal of obamacare is dead.

I doubt they will ever take this up again.

Obamacare will become another entitlement fully funded until the end of time.
