This disaster is amplified by the fact the vote did not go forward and put these weasels on the record.

No disaster - it was a bad bill, cutting the taxes while leaving the expenses and the regulations.

To which weasels do you refer? There seem to be any number of weasels depending on which blog you read.

Let Obamacare fall on its own.

Ryan fail, like everything else that he’s ever tried to do. Trump should never have put any faith whatsoever in that weasel, it’s time for the long knives to come out.

This is a disaster for Paul Ryan, not for President Trump. It weakens the Speaker, hopefully to the point where he is replaced.

The HFC stood firm, protecting the interests of the voters who elected President Trump.

If Steve Bannon is right and this bill was "written by the insurance industry", then it shouldn't have passed...

Yes, it was a bad bill.

And it is a political disaster for House Republicans. They have been exposed, again.

Healthcare is such a thorny interrelated issue. People want cheap, access to any doctor and/or procedure, and cover everyone. All those goals are in direct opposition to each other.

Okay.

I view this as a complete failure of Paul Ryan’s part. And I believe that he should resign. He is utterly ineffective, and he isn’t trustworthy.

Beyond that I view this as a temporary failure, but not as a permanent defeat.

This is an opportunity to fix what was wrong with this bill, which was basically everything.

We do not want Obamacare, GOP. We elected you to all three branches to get rid of it, so get f***ing rid of it BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

Quit screwing around, quit trying to find clever ways to get rid of it without getting rid of it.

Do what you said, or GTFO.

It’s time for Ryan to call Boehner for career advice.

Fox News is reporting that Trump asked Ryan to pull the bill. Who knows what the truth is.

The vote did not go forward. There is no record.

Looks like Full Blown Obamacare is here to stay.
And if it’s about to collapse, RINO’s and RAT’s will join
forces and vote to continue funding it.
They will hide it in some other must have bill.

Ryan failed his first big test of the session.
Trump should bypass him when he introduces the tax reduction packages.

Why doesn’t Ryan simply push through a straight repeal of Obamacare, send it to the Senate, and then let the Senate amend as necessary to get it through the Senate? Any Senate amendments will have to be approved by the House, so the House will still have the final say.

What am I missing?

"Let Obamacare fall on its own."

That's the Democrats plan as well. They are already blaming the failure on Republican Gov obstruction, and their replacement is going to be single payer. By failing to repeal Obamacare, we are a step closer to that happening. 100% chance we get single payer if Dems ever get control of all three branches again. Maybe this will work out and we'll get a better repeal, but an incredibly risky strategy.
