Dem Super PAC Poll: Republicans Take **33-Point** Approval Hit For Backing Insurance Bill
Breitbart ^ | 03/24/17 | NEIL MUNRO

Democrats are cheering a new poll which shows that likely 2018 voters shift 33 points away from incumbent GOP legislators once they are given negative information about House Speaker Paul Ryan’s healthcare bill. “Voters [in GOP districts] move from approving of their congressperson by 12 points(46% approve, 34% disapprove) to disapproving by 21 points (35% approve,56% disapprove) — a net shift of 33 percentage points,” says Priorities USA, which commissioned the poll of 1,001 likely voters into the popularity of Ryancare, or the American Health Care Act.

The Ryancare bill is intended to supplant Obamacare’s takeover of the nation’s healthcare sector.

The March 24 Priorities memo declared:

After hearing a positive argument in favor of the GOP plan, information about its provisions and consequences, and messages against their own incumbent for supporting it, we are able to really move the needle in a way that is rarely driven by a single issue, as it is in this case…

The top-testing message against the GOP proposal (as drafted at the time of fielding) is that it allows insurance companies to charge people over age fifty five times more than younger people for their care—with 61% of voters saying this raises “very” big concerns for them. This is the top-testing message among key target groups, garnering “very” big concerns among 75% of those who move on their vote, 66% of independents, 53% of Obama-Trump voters, and 69% of white non-college women.

The poll was conducted by Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group on March 23.

The poll matches the lopsidedly populist anti-Ryancare results of a Quinnipiac poll released March 23.

The Priorities poll showed significant shifts among several categories of voters once Democrats are able to push the anti-Ryancare argument.

Paul Ryan has always been a sack of crap I have no idea why Wisconsin keeps on electing him over and over and over again..I really doubt this poll is true because its coming from looney Dems but ya know what, this bill is a crap sandwich and unlike Obamacare that the media portrayed as the second coming of Christ, the media will pound away on how this bill is total garbage

You’re darn right they did! They whined, and complained for 7 long years. Passed bill after bill to repeal. Told everyone they had a much better plan in their pocket, ready to go.

This opportunity to act caught them by surprise. The Republicans never imagined they’d actually have to produce the bill they pretended to have.

They’ve been given power, they have proven to be incompetent liars. They will be slaughtered in 2018.

Ryan doesn’t matter to the electorate. This is demonstrating that the right is incapable of governing, the party of no. Whether it’s Ryan’s fault or not, Trump and the conservative cause will be seriously damaged if this doesn’t pass. Trump will be seriously weakened and will lose the power that has fueled his outsider candidacy. However, when Trump loses effectiveness, we’ll always have the Freedom Caucus to balance the Congressional Black Caucus and that will keep us happy.

Won’t help the Dems though. GOP will take care of its internal business.

Same BS reason GW Bush had horrible approvals late in his Presidency: they pi$$ed off their base and acted as big-government Republicans.

I am one that is miffed, but still like the R’s a whole lot more than the Commie D’s

Passing a disaster of a bill(no insurance competition across State lines for example)will be worse. Much worse.

Even if there is some truth to this poll, democrats shouldn’t be celebrating. They are responsible for this mess in the first place. That only means the focus will be on more conservative candidates in the future and the democrap party is anything but that.

Please President Trump, do not let these congress critters get away with this promising this happening in 3 stages. From their past history, when they promised President Reagan immigration reform and a wall for his support on amnesty. They broke their promise and will do it again.

Like the old saying goes “Fool me once....”

I think the idiots think people don’t like the bill because they like Obamacare not because it is just Obamacare lite.

Polls LOL!

If there’s any disapproval of the Paul Ryan POS, it’s in favor of a complete repeal instead of some polished turd substituted for the pile of excrement known as Obamacare.

I’d rather the GOPe keep chasing their tails and let the current flaming garbage collapse under its own weight than actually try to replace it. That way the Dems get all the blame, while the GOPe just look like a bunch of useless dopes who might get to keep their jobs because worthless is better than poisonous.

Yep. I certainly don’t want to own it!

Repeal and Replace.

Seriously. It’s the reason we elected them. Just Do It!

So annoying! The usual cluster thanks to GOPe and RINOs.

a fellow Brat-wurst fan! I emailed him my thoughts a couple weeks back. He looks like he’s an up-and-comer, no? Certainly a quantum improvement over Eric “Comin’ to America” Cantor

Breitbart needs to get over pushing polls.

Who cares? Like the Mississippi, we just keep rolling along with Trump.

The polls were all wrong one other time. Oh. I remember... it was the November Election, 2016.

Winning!

I am not thrilled with Ryancare, but, there is no way I support zerOcare. The conceit of the Bolshies is they assume they are going to pick up support.

So much of zerOcare is at the discretion of the Secretary of Health. What happens to these regulations if zerOcare is rescinded, and the new Secretary has not reversed these regulations? Do they stand, or, do they go away with the law?

I was making my own signs blasting Cantor before Dave Brat even announced. I even put some up in his own neighborhood letting his neighbors know how he was being duplicitous and screwing us.
