These people are so stupid. They have one chance to repeal this thing. ONE. It’ll drag out until the mid-terms when enough people that are sick of Trump will come out to vote and turn the tide in one or both of the houses of Congress. Then we’ll forever be stuck with Obamacare.

Trump told Ryan to hold the vote. It will happen. Let’s seen how many want to see Trump succeed. I bet Trump gets at least 200 votes.
The easiest way to let it collapse is to have insurers offer low-cost insurance plans that don’t meet any of the worst requirements of Obamacare. Let the HHS Dept. approve them as “compliant” insurance plans if any states are willing to allow them. The whole system will fix itself and Obamacare will end up in the trash where it belongs.
It’s not a simple thing to undo and redo. BUT ryan didn’t have anything to replace it.. he didn’t have an option to give to Trump.... ryan figured Trump would not win, so he didn’t spend any time on it before November.. and he figured Trump really would NOT keep his promises... no one in Washington keeps their word, doncha’ know... but this failure (if it fails this go round) is RYAN’S fault and he should be held accountable.
President Trump deserves more than I’ve seen from those who should be assisting the President. They look like freshmen... and maybe that’s what they are.. but this administration should be better tuned than this. The dems attacking.. the media attacking.. have made it almost impossible.. for it seems the only thing that is being done is to defend... every day it’s on the lies being said over and over.. instead of getting on with the new government.
I want to see them ignore the “clutter”.. and leave those subjects behind.. don’t perpetuate them by answering and defending... get on with the agenda! Get those seated that should be.. and fire those who should be... get things in order so it looks like it’s running as smooth as Trump has said it is.
I so want him to succeed early and constantly... don’t do the negatives.. don’t answer the questions that are from the lies..
“Russia”, to the dems, is the “video” hillary used re benghazi ... it’s a lie they made up to explain to them why hillary lost. Russia didn’t come into the equation until someone thought to use it ... to put forth a lie.. and it came from the listening in on phone conversations that did not even involve Trump.. but did involve felonies for what they did by using surveillance to try to find anything on Trump.

Why didn’t they hold weeks of high profile hearing with testimony from average people hurt by Obamacare? Build grass roots demand for change? Why, instead, did they whip up a bill with lobbyists behind closed doors?

Those guys also saved the religious exemption that allows a lot of people to get around the Obamacare mandates. Crazy as it may sound, a lot of people are better off under Obamacare because they can legally ignore it.
You sound like the democrats when they tried to force ObamaCare down our throats in a rush without even kowing what was in the bill.

Maybe you should take a course in civics before you complain about nonsense. A president simply doesn’t have the authority to unilaterally dismantle a U.S. statute. Congress has to do it. Trump has done what he is able to do under our form of government. One of the first things he did was have the IRS ignore the Obamacare requirement for those tax forms that verify compliance with the individual health insurance mandate. I’m sure he will do many more things through his HHS secretary if no bill passes in Congress.

And the remaining 15%? Read HR 1628 and you will see that the bill does exactly that. Look at Sections 101 to Sections to 251.
This isn’t about personality cultist it’s about conservative principles and virtues. I laughed when you said members of the freedom caucus are not conservatives. Naming Mike Lee? That’s laughable and I now wonder if you even understand what conservative principles are or if the cult of personality has completely obstructed your vision.
So tell me, what exactly was this bill to accomplish and what was conservative about it?
Great news. Obamacare was never popular. Stop worrying about this hurting the Republicans.
I do know people using 0care-allowed religious alternatives who would lose everything under Ryan's bill. That is just one of the problems Ryancare provides that not even 0bama gave us.
Ryancare does address some things in more positive ways, and it is, on the whole, a better option, but I can't say it is a clean “win” and it's not nearly as good as can be done.
