The Washington Post is calling for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) to be investigated for publicly leaking sensitive information.
Nunes has faced intense criticism for announcing Wednesday the U.S. intelligence community incidentally collected information on members of President Trumps transition team, and briefing the White House on it before talking to members of the committee.
Weve said before that it was doubtful than an investigation headed by Mr. Nunes into Russias interference in the [2016] election could be adequate or credible. The chairmans contradictory and clownish grandstanding makes that a certainty, the Post's editorial board wrote Friday.
His committees investigation should be halted immediately and Mr. Nunes deserves to be subject to the same leaking probe he demanded for the previous disclosures.

I don’t agree!
Quick! Shoot the messenger and invert the message.
That's exactly what Comey testified to last week. He said that if someone makes up some purportedly secret information, the FBI won't correct it, because that would reveal something secret.
Here we go! Just in time for the intelligence bombshell that’s supposed to be announced today proving BO’s administration is guilty as hell.
The information Nunes saw had NOTHING to do with “Russia” - but wide survellience on unmasked individuals that had nothing to do with Russia.
Make no doubt of it - the Washington Post is the enemy, the mouthpiece of Bezos who tasked 40 reporters a year ago to find dirt on Trump and he has never let up. The standard Post inquiry to Obama - “how’s your little dog doing, Mr. President”? They pulled the plug on Vietnam because of their hysterical Watergate reporting 42 years ago, we can’t let them do it to Trump now by letting them attack every single person who says the slightest thing positive about him.
We’re shocked! Who told you there was gambling going on?
Lots of flak...he must be close to the target.
Attempted cover up by the Washington Post.
So.
The publishing arm of the CIA is against leaks of their illegal activities against the American Public?
Not expected and unprecedented....
The only intense criticism Nunes is receiving for blowing the whistle on the Obama Admin spying on the Trump Admin is from our enemies, including the Washington Post above, the Dems, and left wing news organizations.
Fake news. Democrats own a newspaper. Woop di doo. There’s a reason Obama left the country.
Their comeuppance is coming. Trump, Amazon, antitrust.
Soon.
It’s the opportunity we have been waiting for: Destroy the ‘Rats and the Media!
How can you “leak” information to the President?
This is patently ridiculous. The President is the ultimate authority for the agencies involved here so there is NO WAY he could leak information. He said there was no link to “Russia” (what a boogieman they have become for the party that defended them at every turn when they were “communists”) so this involved eavesdropping on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil and unmasking them for political purposes resulting in leaks of classified information and violations of constitutional rights.
WaPo Motto-”Democracy dies in Darkness”
Reality: WaPo “dies when exposed to daylight”
The left has been screaming for proof since the story broke. Now, Nunes gives proof, and they want HIM investigated? Unreal.
With all the knives out for Nunes and all the fake news about collusion appearing suddenly, you know he’s on to something real.
“Theres a reason Obama left the country.”
Exactly right. I was going to post the same yesterday, but I fell asleep instead, lol. Obama has skipped the country and is maintaining extremely low profile because he knows the proverbial sh*t is about to hit the fan.
Bezos’ Amazon has some big contracts with the CIA. It makes sense to me that the WaPo would be at the deep state’s disposal.
