It’s time for Christians to stop building worship palaces to our own glory and start using the money God has given us for the establishment of Christian schools. The Left is a cancer, destroying the Christian church and our society by indoctrinating our children into the Godless lifestyle we see in our country.

Put your money where your complaining mouth is, Christian leaders. We have at least two generations heading to Hell….if you still believe there is such a place, which,Jesus taught us about.

I homeschool my youngest (he is in 6th grade). I love every minute of it. We get to study logic and we really get deep into history. He is very advanced for his age and we go to a wonderful academic co-op once a week in Tampa.

My older one (9th grade) goes to a private school affiliated with a Baptist church. He gets plenty of liberal indoctrination there, believe me. He was taught that Bernie was amazing because none of them would have to pay for college (only “rich” people would have to pay, and by gosh their parents who are forking over $15k for tuition were not considered “rich”). He is taught that it is “rude” (yes, rude) for Trump to insist on building a wall and keeping people out. They did have a mock election last year, and Trump had something like 80 percent of the vote so at least the message isn’t sticking.

I wish I could keep homeschooling my older son (I did 2nd-5th grades), but we are two Type A peas in a very small pod and it just doesn’t work.

We pulled our kids from parochial school to save their souls !! That was 1998 — the catholic system in CT then was
most interested in the voucher possibility and govt money then the children’s souls. Homeschool was the way.
Worse now.

There are dozens of reasons that we homeschooled our kids. One of them we didn’t consider was girls being raped by illegal aliens.

send him to community college as soon as he can get in to take some courses, he does not need to matriculate but needs to pass some basic tests.

If they wont let him in til sophomore year look around for courses he can take both on line and local at night schools and colleges to fill in the year and send him to college for his junior and scenario years.

They usually permit 2 to 3 courses per semester and the commuters are a motivated lot. Some private colleges also permit a homeschooler to take courses often at a discount rate. You can buy a better education than the Baptists are offering.

-—This is simply not possible for most people——

I have to disagree...

It’s a matter of how much are you willing to sacrifice your lifestyle...

My wife and I homeschooled or put into Christian schools six children for most of their educational years.

Small house, older car, tight budgets, second jobs, it can be done, just a matter how much you are willing to sacrifice...

You aren’t going to reform the public school system...only market forces will...

Are those people genuinely poor, or are they mismanaging their finances?

I worked two jobs for the first 8 years so I could put my kids through a private Christian School. Public school is hideous.

Hats off to you.
All my kids are grown, but if I had some today they would not be in public school.

Private schools may not be a panacea though. Some private school accept public money and you know what that means. A need to investigate a school beforehand.

"Why would any loving and caring parent subject their tender little child to physical and emotional aabuse, educational malpractice, and spiritual poison just to attain a political goal?"

Some loving and caring parents train, support, and work with their children to develop moral and political antigens against leftist propaganda and to stand up and reject leftist lies and deceit. These parents work so that their children do not become society snowflakes when they grow up.

Alberta's Child: "A government-run school system has no place in a free nation — PERIOD.

Public grade schools have existed in America since before the founding of the United States. They were locally controlled.

The involvement by the federal government in education has been questionable at best and more evidently destructive, if not in violation of the Constitution, especially the 10th Amendment.

Public grade schools were established in America at a time when most colonies had official religions enshrined in their laws. There is no place for that in a free nation, which was one reason why the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights prohibits this sort of thing.

You need to read what the First Amendment actually says, not how it's been twisted and perverted by leftists.

“I recently saw where a home-schooled child was the youngest ever to go to the national spelling bee,...”

My son won every Spelling Bee he participated in. Then then the District Director of Language Arts (a PHd of course) issued a Memo announcing the termination of the Spelling Bee’s.

Reason #1 The physical stress of the competition is too much for children to withstand.

Reason #2 Spelling is now educationally unsound.

Can’t make it up!

Lobby for vouchers, tax credits, and charters with the aim of eventually moving to complete separation of school and state.

Re: Building up antigens

The research PROVES that most parents fail.....even parents from highly active evangelical families.

So?....Why would any parent take this risk. It's like throwing a child off the Golden Gate Bridge hoping they will learn to fly.

Christ never used children as missionaries. Even his solid **adult** apostles wavered and doubted at times.

Re: Moving

Every ( yes, **all**) government schools in this nation are godless in their worldview. They godless by law. Children in these classrooms **will** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the godless classroom, read their godless textbooks, and do their godless assignments. How could it be otherwise?

Congratulations on your son,

Its my belief that all parents with necessary means should remove their children from government run schools or at the minimum, actively work (daily) to annul that indoctrination,

I believe the young girl was from Oklahoma and maybe 5 years old? Quite an impressive feat,
