Obama added it's silly to just repeal his law. He also said it's not in a "death spiral" because most people haven't seen their premiums rise.
Obama called on people who believed in the fight to pass the law to stand up and defend it against repeal attempts.
"Americans who love their country still have the power to change it," he said.

I just ran into a fellow employee who retired but had to come back part time just to pay for her health care. Her monthly premium went up from about $90.00 a month to over $600 a month. She said that her healthcare hardly covers anything. She has two more years before she can go on Medicare. I’m 62 and thinking twice about retiring any time soon unless something is done about healthcare.
Yeah, that’s why your fellow polititurds passed it in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve and exempted themselves from the provisions it contains.

2) It is in a death spiral. Just because freeloaders haven’t seen premium go up doesn’t mean it’s solvent. It just means that the payers are paying more (including tax payers of the future as we borrow $$ to give freeloaders insurance today).

I know the theory is that Obama wants to elude extradition. I don’t buy it because no one wants to be remembered historically as the most racist person who ever lived. That is how the MSM would portray anyone who made a move against the ‘first black POTUS.’
