In fact that’s probably why people today use heroin (no ending e) so much. Because we’ve forgotten all about what being heroes and heroines is like. Because that means to cease to be self centered and, instead, centered on the divine.
But people haven’t entirely forgotten about the principle, so they simulate the feeling with the drugs.
Remember God at anywhere close to full strength once more and no more monkeys on backs. There was a reason that America of the mid and late 1800s wasn’t even thinking about bans. Because they were openly talking about God. Grieving the Holy Spirit, as in our modern political correctness, is a good way of losing the power, bigtime.
