The Twitter account of Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao briefly posted a peculiar tweet on Wednesday responding to Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, who has told President Trump to prepare for impeachment.
"SUE HIS VERY SOUL MAXINE!!!" Chao tweeted.
Chao's tweet was deleted after about 15 minutes.
"Get ready for impeachment," Waters tweeted Tuesday.
"The tweet was posted by an employee with access to the account. The employee took action outside of his scope of work and duties and without any approvals. We are taking appropriate action," a Department of Transportation spokesperson said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

Bad advice from people he thought he could trust. President Trump is brilliant, but he does not know the character of everyone and has to rely on analysis from those who have been in politics. (My opinion)

Am I the only one who sees that tweet as sarcasm? Whoever tweeted it, it ounds like mockery to me.

I know far more about her and her husband than YOU do and don't let anyone off the hook, for what they do. How is it "sarcasm" ? She was telling Crazy Maxine to sue him instead of trying to impeach him. After all, what with judge shopping, the lefties and RINOS can stop the president cold, from ever doing ANYTHING.
I think it was making fun of Waters. Could have tweeted “Go get his ass, Maxine. Knock yourself out!”

Don’t be ridiculous! Anyone who is on social media for any amount of time quickly realizes that sarcasm cannot be read on line. And that’s why we have little hints like “/s” after we write a sarcastic response. And if she was - which I doubt - being sarcastic, she should have her ass kicked to the curb anyway for being a total dummy!

Why would anyone think it was intended by Chou as sarcasm when later she claimed it was some minion with unauthorized access to her account?
Apparently 99.9% of FReepers believe that reading JUST the headlines sufficiently informs them to post commentary.
