When someone pulls a gun and starts shooting at people in the street, it means they shouldn’t be allowed into the public again. Either execute them or lock them away for life. And execution is much cheaper...
Maybe someone should finally break the news to Hinkley that Jodie’s a crack snacker. Could have saved a lot of grief.

I was working in a warehouse when news of the shooting broke. In the good old days of radio it took hours to finally get an idea of what exactly had happened.
What happened to the good old days when assassinations got you a bullet between the eyes, for your trouble?
What’s gonna happen when it sinks in to this POS’s effed up brain that Jodie Foster “plays for the other team”?
I was a student at Indiana University. The night of the shooting, IU was scheduled to play the North Carolina Tar Heels for the NCAA Basketball Championship. We were going to host a huge viewing party at our off campus house.
I came back from class in the early afternoon and my roommate told me “The President has been shot. They are talking about cancelling the game.” Given who he was, my first response was: “B******t. April Fools isn’t till Wednesday.” But there it was, on TV.
They still played the game. In my office, I still have the framed tin-type copy of the next day’s Bloomington newspaper with two headlines: “Hoosiers, NCAA Champs” and “Reagan Condition Excellent After Surgeons Remove Bullet.”
For me it was a day and night of split personality.

He doesn’t. He broke the rules when he was on trial release and is still crackers. My guess is the SS is keeping an eye on him 24/7. But seeing how the SS has been screwing up lately it’s not reassuring.
I remember that day well. I was in class and suddenly a teacher said the president had just been shot. A teacher wheeled in a TV and we all watched the news until it was time to leave. I remember the news was first that Reagan himself wasn’t hurt. Then it was that maybe he was grazed by a bullet but was not seriously hurt. Then it was that he was in surgery at the hospital. When I got home I anxiously kept watching the news. Horrible day.
He left the hospital 7 months ago, and no one noticed?
He attended the DNC Convention. He attended Hillary and Bernie Rallies.
Mostly blended right in. Only trouble was someone started noticing he was the only sane one there.
