Good!
Otherwise Congress keeps waiting for a perfect alternative, which they will never find and Obamacare will never get repealed.

Supposedly one of the Freedom Caucus members told Trump today that he's opposing this bill (as written) because it will be politically disastrous for
TRUMP.
If it doesn't do anything to reduce insurance premiums in 2018 for people who are dropping their coverage even now in 2017, then it's a complete waste of time and never should have been introduced.

REPLACE is NOT REPEAL.
Many Congressmen can lose their job on a poor Replace bill.

Rand Paul and members of the Greedom Caucus have safe seats so what is stood to be lost is a Republican majority in the House. Democrats will stand by and let the GOP self inflect wounds, and if there is repeal and no replace, expect nothing but MSM sob stories (real or imagines) night after night about people who “lost” insurance because of repeal all the way up till Nov. 2018. Guarantee it.

Why Ryan decided to do this Obamacare legislation in the context of a funding bill beats the hell out of me. First, it delays any substantial action to kill Obamacare. Second, my fear is that as we get closer to mid-term elections, any subsequent action will be much more difficult to pull off. Third, Ryan's three phase repeal is much to complicated, likely by design to foster failure. Why not kill Obamacare outright using one of their already drafted repeals, return health-care back to the free market and then assess what, if any government controls may be needed.

Trump owns this now. We shall see what happens in the Thursday vote for RyanCare/TrumpCare.

I don’t know of any repeal bill.
All I’ve heard is repeal and replace.

I’ve got a great idea, why don’t we just make Republicans OWN ObamaCare? We can just rename it and add a few bells and whiskes. Then when it crashes and burns, Republicans will be left holding the bag.
What a great idea! Not.
I like Paul’s bill much, much more. Bring that one to the floor.

When this pile of crap hits the fan on Thursday, Trump owns it. I thought he was smarter then this. No wonder Ryan has been smirking so much.
