EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - A 19-year-old has been arrested for his connection to the murders of Derek Benjamin Greer, 15, and Natalie Partida, 16.
Gustavo Marquez has been booked on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of kidnapping.
Marquez is also facing one count of child abuse resulting in death because Greer was only 15 years old.
The arrest is a step forward in the case that began when the teens' bodies were found on the shoulder of Old Pueblo Road about 3/4 of a mile south of Hanover Road on March 12.
"To know that somebody has been taken into custody, there's probable cause behind the arrest. Hopefully, it will bring them some kind of peace," Jacqueline Kirby with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.

See the case of the Maryland school rapists. The under reported back story on these teens (dreamers) committing crimes is that they were recruited in their home country. They had proved themselves as able criminals and were brought into this country by criminal gangs. There is a lot more wealth to “criminalize” here than in Mexico, El Salvador or Guatemala. The gangsters get them sponsors. Why would a 18 y/o kid, stopped by ICE at the border, end up in Maryland?
Any congress person whose votes or judges whose rulings are responsible for illegal immigration, should be forced to make restitution to the families of these victims.

An illegal murdered a woman near my house a few days ago but I cannot post the article about it because the newspapers down here will not allow their stuff to be posted here.
I heard about this news story; saw the picture of the kids. I feel sorry for them but had to wonder how they might have got in this situation too.
