It’s well beyond ideological tone deafness that leads the Maryland Democrat State Legislature to propose they become the first entire sanctuary state in the nation against the backdrop of a brutal rape of a 14-year-old freshman student by 17 and 18-yr-old illegal alien classmates.
Just hours ago republican governor Larry Hogan posted this on his Facebook page:

My daughter has always wanted to be a teacher her whole life. She is in her final semester student teaching in a title 1 school in Montgomery county md. You can’t believe what she’s been telling me about this school she is working in. Kindergarteners setting fires, students threatening to stab administrators, police visits, parents that leave students in the morning that aren’t even enrolled at the school and 1/3 of the students unable to read at a 1st grade level. I tell my husband every day we need to move before it’s too late.

As you likely know, that is a completely intentional tactic by the Left, to change the language and terms of usage.
They have done the same thing with homosexuality, and are trying to do the same with underage sex partners.
They couple this with tactics like saying conservatives are against all immigrants. They intentionally conflate legal with illegal.

Maryland is a beautiful state and a great place to live.
It is very scenic and has great homes and neighborhoods. It has access to almost anything you could want.
The Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay are near by. There are mountains, valleys, wineries, cultural attractions, landmarks and great restaurants.
It is a great place to live.
The only bad things are the politicians and the liberals.
It’s a beautiful state. There are no perfect states, because there are no perfect people.
Maryland politics is dominated by the blacks in Baltimore who vote 100% democrat, the Prince George's County welfare leftists and the liberals in parts of Montgomery County.
Outside those areas the state is not leftist. Gerrymandering keeps the Democrats in power.
This girls civil rights have been violated by the school district, the city and county. Send the DOJ in to take over.
The blacks in Baltimore vote 100% democrat. The welfare leftists and government workers in PG county are mostly Democrats. The liberal lawyers, government workers and others dominate in parts of Montgomery County.
The rest of the state is not that liberal.
What about the City of Baltimore?
Maybe wrap all of central Maryland, Baltimore included, into an expanded District of Columbia. Throw in Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax, which would tilt Virginia rightward.

This would work at first. But then, when the “new” District of Columbia became as degraded and dangerous as the current one, the residents would simply move out to the next ring of suburbs: Charles, Anne Arundel, Howard and Frederick counties in Maryland, and Prince William and Loudoun counties in Virginia. And the traffic would become even worse than it already is.
The only hope would be that, when the “new” DC was established, and sanity temporarily returned to the remainders of Maryland and Virginia, they would have to quickly build their own border wall.
The state of Maryland is now guilty of obstruction of governance and conspiracy of obstruction of governance. Every member of the legislature voting for the measure is assumed to be guilty and therefore, along with his family, subject to transport.
If the governor signs, he and his family will also be subject to immediate transport
If there is no law, there is no law. Maryland can’t have it both ways

Was at a Reb luncheon in Annapolis a few weeks ago and Pat McDonough (I love that guy) said something like
“Do we want the citizens of Maryland to elect their representatives or do we want the representatives to select their voters?”
“I feel like a woman, therefore I am.”
“I feel like a black, therefore I am.”
“I feel like a citizen, therefore I can vote.”

The 1st story on their 6 o’clock news was Legget et. al. defending immigrants yutes. (Love the timing on that.)
Next one was on the rise of MS-13 violence in our schools in M.C. and their recruitment of these new immigrant yutes.
They put these kids without parents in a situation everyday were they are lost, alone and can’t even communicate with most of the student body. The Rats are helping the gangs recruitment efforts.
They are not only victimizing us but some of these kids!
