How Bad Is the Left’s Politics of Humiliation?
American Thinker ^ | March 21, 2017 | Christopher Chantrill

I suppose that the ritual of humiliation is a very big part of being human. Think of school bullies and high school mean girls. Think of Mrs. Norris dealing it out to country cousin Fanny Price in Mansfield Park. Think of show trials and the necessary indoctrination of college freshmen about the evils of whiteness.

Deal out humiliation if you can, endure it if you must.

But then there is the image of Jesus, the Son of God, humiliated on the Cross. What was that all about?

It is obvious to me that the left has recently stepped up the humiliation offensive on their eternal enemies, the racists, the sexists, and the homophobes. That is how I interpret the judicial effort to humiliate President Trump and his effort to reduce the jihadi quotient from certain Middle Eastern nations. And the effort to humiliate Charles Murray at Middlebury College. And now the Boston Irish have been humiliated into including a gay veterans group into their St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Against this playground bully culture -- interesting isn’t it that we are earnestly stamping out the playground bullies at government child custodial facilities while encouraging them at government young-adult custodial facilities and in the streets -- against this playground bully culture there is the dictum of Winston Churchill: in victory, magnanimity; in defeat, defiance.

Interesting. That a lot of this hysteria might just be a way to keep their spirits up.

DNC Dumbocrat Perez made political history when he suggested if more people didn't become Democrats, he would sue Trump....ROTFLOL.

THIS JUST IN---Despite heavy investments, Democrats Flip Zero Seats in Four Recent Blue State Special Elections

This latest Democrat humiliation occurred after Perez bragged Democrats would show that their resistance to Trump could be translated into electoral victories. To add insult to injury, the Minnesota, Connecticut, Virginia Democrat losses are the states Hillary won in the 2016 presidential election.

========================================

Perez needs to smoke something stronger.....just look at the numbers.

HAT TIP VENDOME---23 Dems, 2 indies and 8 Republican seats are up in 2018. The math is improbable, as in not even possible for Dems to make a gain. At least 10 of those seats are very much in jeopardy.

The Dem are going to lose bigly and then the census favors the Republicans in 2020.

Trump for 8 years and with a Republican majority...then Pence for eight years. If you force the nuclear option just once, that becomes the standard for the next 8 years. We will get 4 more bites of the apple on SCOTUS, ensuring wins on almost any issue for the next 16 years of elections and 100 years in the courts.

It’s scientifically proven the artificial hysteria displayed generates an adrenaline type “high”. Proven to be addicting by those with a weak mind.

Do you think there’s even a way to change the mind of those who hold views opposite of yours? How?

Starvation, sleep deprivation, random beatings, and variable interval rewards.

Send them off to live in a society that embodies the ideals that they try to force on everyone. Venezuela and Cuba come to mind. The fact that many of them don’t speak Spanish and don’t want to learn is a bonus: they will also experience the lifestyle that they feel is ideal for illegal aliens, in that they will be cut off and marginalized from the main culture.

Let them come back only if they demonstrate that they truly understand the concepts of freedom and cultural integration (aka melting pot).
