To some extent, I agree with her.
The federal government should have no role in abortion, pro or con. Roe v. Wade was decided incorrectly, as there is no such right in the Constitution, but a nationwide ban on abortion would also be constitutionally incorrect. It is the proper role of the states to make any decisions on abortion’s legality.
The moral decision is to ban abortion, or not to have one even if it’s legal, but that’s not a national decision in any case.
Just 3 months ago, she put “pro-choicers” in quotes and said abortion is murder.
You don’t suppose she got pregnant and quietly aborted, do you?

The problem is that there are many who claim to be conservative today, particularly among the "millennial" generation, who don't have the foggiest idea what that means. They're trying to grab hold of conservative ideas that make sense to them, but then mix them together with a variety of modern-day error and cultural idiocy in order to still appear "relevant" and "cool."
True conservatism is based upon timeless and inherently true principles that are intrinsically valid regardless of what anyone thinks or believes about them. American conservatism is simply a different name for our founding principles, which were and are based fundamentally upon belief in God and obedience to his laws and precepts. God is the source of natural law, which underpins our entire constitutional system.
The post-modern "conservative" pragmatists like Tomi appear to be blithely unaware of this and have instead concocted a bastardized philosophy that claims to be conservative, but which also allows them to still be one of the "cool kids." I think it's based more upon ego and self-promotion than upon any true principles.

And Tomi, once upon the time you too were an embryo, like all the rest of us. Before conception there was just a possibility of a person, after conception there you were, there was I, there we all were an embryo in our mothers’ wombs waiting for our future. This is why I believe abortion is not an acceptable choice. Prevention of conception, yes, elimination of a conceived person, no.

I’m just going to say that she seems lie a smart young lady who obviously has more learning to do.
And I hope that she does that learning before she makes a mistake that cannot ever be taken back, because once it’s done, she will carry it with her for the rest of her life, and it is a very heavy burden.

If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex, because the purpose of sex is to produce another human being.
The purpose of sex is not to express your love for another, although yes that can and does occur during the process if the sex is between two people that love each other.
The purpose of sex is not to get your rocks off, or pass time, or relax, or entertain yourself, although those things can and do also occur during the process.
The purpose of sex is to produce another human being. That is the successful outcome of sexual relations between a man and a woman. So if you do not want that outcome, if you are not ready for that to occur in your life, don’t do it.
Once you create another life, that is the ultimate responsibility of a human being in this world. I think that is the greatest thing we can achieve in this world. and if you duck that responsibility by killing that life, you will regret it every day for the rest of your life. Trust me, I know.
And do not delude yourself, Tomi, by saying that it isn’t a life yet while it is in your body, because it most certainly is.
The exact moment the seed and egg join is the exact moment it becomes life, because a life begins at the exact time that someone else can take it away.
