Young Americans: Most see Trump as illegitimate president
MSN AP ^ | March 18, 2017

WASHINGTON — Jermaine Anderson keeps going back to the same memory of Donald Trump, then a candidate for president of the United States, referring to some Mexican immigrants as rapists and murderers. "You can't be saying that (if) you're the president," says Anderson, a 21-year-old student from Coconut Creek, Florida. That Trump is undeniably the nation's 45th president doesn't sit easily with young Americans like Anderson who are the nation's increasingly diverse electorate of the future, according to a new poll. A majority of young adults — 57 percent — see Trump's presidency as illegitimate, including about three-quarters of blacks and large majorities of Latinos and Asians, the GenForward poll found.

GenForward is a poll of adults age 18 to 30 conducted by the Black Youth Project at the University of Chicago with the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

So a millennial snowflake has a memory of something that never happened.

The millennials will be known as the “fake news” generation.

My kids and grandkids and most of their friends all love President Trump. I guess they were not polled.

Then how the heck did Trump get 43 percent from the young kids? Obviously Trump supporters were polled.

Has there been a legitimate president since Eisenhower? Have they even studied any recent history?

Oh, that’s right, it is not PERMITTED to study history and especially history not extensively rewritten by the “liberal” guardians of progressive thought patterns, the only ones with tenure in the great majority of institutes of higher learning.

“The children” haven’t been the future for a long time. Not any kind of American capitalist democratic republic future, anyway.

“They believe the whole system is irreparably broken.”

That’s very true as the youth are receptive to an autocratic progressive dictatorship- lite. They fail to see the fascism in their future.

I do not even pretend to know how AP and MSN get the poll numbers they get. Perhaps they are using the same pollsters who said Hillary would take it in a landslide?

Of the 52 students in the class, only my grandson
and two others voted for Trump.

**************

It would be interesting to note how many of the other 49
actually voted. My guess is not that many.

The US defeated Japan in the field largely by bypassing large concentrations of troops left to otherwise wither on the vine.

But I think the poll was taken to prove a conclusion

Exactly.
I have ignored push polls, polls presented by identity politics groups, un-American Soros/Hillarite/ illegal immigrant invaders and Islamic-terrorist sympathizers.

Not exactly the groups I see as "... the nation's increasingly diverse electorate of the future"

Not in my current or my future universe; and that of my children and grandchildren.

Moving right along...

Have they ever read anything about Obama’s legitimacy?

It’s not just Trump that demo is sour on. They believe the whole system is irreparably broken.

Natural born citizen means born here of citizen parents. No foreign birth.
No foreign parent(s)
No foreign citizenship(s)
Solely an American with no possibility of being anything else.

Nope. All natural born means is having citizenship from birth. Stop posting your debunked crap. If the Founders wanted all of those conditions added to being a citizen at birth, they would have put them in the Constitution. While the fact that, for example, some army brat was born off-base in Okinawa to American parents stationed overseas in the service of our country might seem enough to you to disqualify that person as a natural born citizen, the simple fact is that you are wrong and no amount of confirmation-biased interpretations of cherry-picked court cases and misreadings of pre-foundation documents that aren't even, themselves, actual founding documents will change the fact that the Founders did not provide an alternative definition for "natural born". The dictionary definition is the legal definition. Get over it. Better yet, get a Constitutional amendment, if you can. But stop making yourself, and by extension, the rest of us, look like idiots by acting like a goalpost-moving leftard. You don't get to unilaterally make up new rules just because you don't like how the old ones are working, lady.

Aren’t most young voters these days illegitimate bastards?

As opposed to legitimate bastards?
I believe that the American experience absolutely excluded "royalty" in any form.

calenel thinks the recently deceased King of Thailand was eligible to be President.
He was born in Cambridge MA.

Anybody who says he’s not a legitimate president does not understand how presidents are elected.

They lack the brain cells or the ability to act rationally.

They are universally ignorant of the bloodbaths of the Russian revolution, or the 1793-1794 French Reign of Terror...
Ironically, when the finishing touches were made on our Constitution, specifically the untouchable Bill of Rights.

And Obama WAS an illegitimate president, him being Kenyan and all, but we sucked it up for eight years.

Yeah, because nobody exhibits proper speaking etiquette than young black males.

That would make a perfectly beautiful episode, if The Twilight Zonw were still on the air...
