One of Philadelphias most prominent Latin American events, El Carnaval de Puebla, has been canceled this year because of what one organizer called the severe conditions affecting the immigrant community. The annual parade through South Philadelphia has taken place in late April or early May for the last decade and is the citys largest Cinco de Mayo celebration. Organizer Edgar Ramirez said as many as 15,000 gather from as far as New England and Chicago.

That’s pretty funny. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated mostly by cerveza loving Americans.
GOOD!!!!
I’m not tired of winning yet.
More winning nice
Sort of like Kwanzaa is mostly celebrated by white school teachers.
Thank God.
Oh, well. Probably the best for everyone.
Ha ha.
THis clearly demonstrates the Philadelphia event was primarily for illegals.
Just like St. Patrick’s day, I have no problem with a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Just legal immigrants and American citizens.
Win Win..... Americans with valid credentials don’t need to fear one thing.
#Cinco de Migra.
I can’t wait until we see the headline: “Illegals no longer sneaking into the U.S. for fear of being deported”.
We need to keep saying this every time the left tries to frame the conversation around immigration.
Awwww....
Amazing...we are led to believe by the libs that there really aren’t that many illegals here, but entire events get cancelled. Why would Hispanics living here legally not want to show up?
Sort of like public schools in New York City with no Jewish students closing for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, too. LOL.
It’s gratifying to watch the concept of “illegal” seep into their overly entitled brains. Yes, “illegal” means arrest, detention, and sanction. New concept to them.
Interesting. Isn’t it racist to presume that all Latinos who might celebrate Cinco De Mayo might be in the United States illegally?
ICE ICE ICE ICE ICE ICE!!!!!
Too bad. I,too, love to celebrate a French defeat.
Cinco de Mayo isn’t even celebrated in Mexico.
This is a good thing, though.
Less flag waving of their country’s flag by the illegal aliens is always a good thing.
