President Donald Trump today released his America First budget blueprint which calls for slashing non-defense-related discretionary spending by $54 billion and completely eliminating funding for many independent agencies and federal programs.
Among those that will be completely defunded are the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
Our Budget Blueprint insists on $54 billion in reductions to non-Defense programs, Trump said in the introduction to his budget blueprint. We are going to do more with less, and make the government lean and accountable to the people.

Sooo... this is no secret. Those non-productive blood suckers will finally have to find work in the private sector. Oh wait, they will go on welfare and food stamps. Never mind.
Open a GoFundMe for NEA, NPB, NPR.
YES!!!!!!!! Go Trump!
Remember all those years of Democrats saying Republican President budgets were dead on arrival and then filling with pork and forcing the President to sign? Well Trump has cut back so far that even with some pork refill, he will have still made government smaller and more responsible!
Praise the Lord! Go Trump. The vile art and programs need the axe.
It’s A START!
Here’s a novel idea. Let those who use these services subscribe to them. Duh.
If the perverted “art” of the left can’t stand on its own merit, it needs to die.
Remember all those years of the Pubbies doing exactly the same?
Good riddance!
We finally have a President with guts and decision-making skills!
Stop talking and do it. Every time you tell the enemy what you are doing, they foment the protestitutes to start shouting. Look at Obamacare, under wraps until passed..
Its A START!
Honestly we could cut every dollar but Defense, SS, Medicare and there would be hardly any cuts at all at least in a percentage of the total spending. But I wish Trump would get on TV and ask where funding NPR is in the Constitution? Where does it say Meals on Wheels is in the Constitution, etc. That is the only way to shut these liberals up.
I was listening to a local radio show, last night, and the host said that the NPR building actually has a bee keeper ,on the roof, in order to supply the employees with fresh honey. Not sure if this is fake news or not. it certainly sounds like something these elites would do.
“We finally have a President with guts and decision-making skills!”
Is there any doubt that there is going to be bunch of Judges that are going to throw out these “cuts”?
What judges can force the government to spend money?
They’re federal employees.
Give them the option of transferring to the Army and send them to boot camp.
If the high-rollers in our society want their names on an opera house, museum, library, etc...let them pay for it. It’s worked for campus buildings and our huge stadiums (corporate). Sponsor a vehicle to deliver meals on wheels and put your name on the side. Seems to me that so-called community leaders would keep trying to one-up each other. Everyone wins.
