Peggy Noonan uses Social Security and Medicare as if those were great Government programs worthy of support.

President Trump supports them wholeheartedly. It's the main reason I was for a long time a NeverTrumper.

If Noonan thinks the 'rats would ever work with Trump no matter how much he gave them, she is living in the past. The days of the "loyal" opposition are over.

It was as party line an operation as it gets.

Republicans should give no quarter to a corrupt and malicious Democratic Party.

If individual Democrats break from the party line I’m fine working with them. But anything related to that party line should be treated with open contempt.

Peggy Noonan is still around? I wouldn’t have known that, since she became a RINO around 1990 if not earlier.

That assumes every Republican votes for the bill. There is already a good conservative minority in the House (House Freedom Caucus) that will not vote for it. Chances are good that some conservatives (like Paul and Cruz) will vote “Nay” as well.

Like I say - This replacement option is garbage. We conservatives better hope it never passes.

Personally I believe Ryno care is DOA in the House and Senate. It could be passed with 51 votes but Cruz, Paul and Lee will kill it.

The real question is why aren’t the pubbies passing the 2015 repeal legislation which made it to Obama’s desk? Nobody is holding their feet to the fire on that.

Methinks we need to primary just about every single Republican in the Senate, only beginning with McLame and Lamesay, McTurtleNeck, Flake the Flake and going right on down the list.
Then we can primary nearly every single Republican in the House, starting with Paul Rino, moving on down the list...you get the idea.
We need solid conservatives in office to move the goalposts and actually ‘drain the swamp’. Until then, Trump is swinging at moving targets.

Fixed it.

Peggy Noonan is accidentally famous. She worked for Reagan’s speech writing department and the media claimed it was their great writing that made Reagan great. So Bush older hired her and she wrote the thousand points of light speech. The speech that changed the world.

To reach across the aisle, the other side needs to be open to reception. Over the last few years, the quality of Noonan’s thinking has really deteriorated. She is apparently a true old style GOPe.

Obama wins with super majority: elections have consequences. Nobody says anything as he tears into America like a wolf on meat.

Trump wins with super majority: psychotic cries about Russia, interference, and calls for “reaching across the isle.”

The problem with America.

Obamacare was designed to fail.

It looks to me that even Trump can’t save it.

The only real question, can Trump be saved from Obamacare or will the alligators in the swamp prevail?
