NEW YORK (AP) — Google is trying to improve the quality of its search results by directing review teams to flag content that might come across as upsetting or offensive.
With the change, content with racial slurs could now get flagged under a new category called "upsetting-offensive." So could content that promotes hate or violence against a specific group of people based on gender, race or other criteria.
While flagging something doesn't directly affect the search results themselves, it's used to tweak the company's software so that better content ranks higher. This approach might, for instance, push down content that is inaccurate or has other questionable attributes, thereby giving prominence to trustworthy sources.
The review teams — comprised of contractors known as "quality raters" — already comb through websites and other content to flag questionable items such as pornography. Google added "upsetting-offensive" in its latest guidelines for quality raters. Google declined to comment on the changes, which were reported in the blog Search Engine Land and elsewhere.

Every search will give you a Google Approved nothing answer or a Chinese Communist Party answer
So it’s a PC search engine. They really don’t have unlimited power which they will realize when people start to shun them.
Which is used by liberals to filter their searches in case they see something that causes them to head to their safe room or fainting couch.

I suppose we deplorables could find articles about, say Chelsea writes a new book, or Hillary mulling a run for mayor, or Michelle in a new fashion.. etc., and tag them as offensive?

It doesn’t work. Katie Kuric’s news advertisement comes up on my email. the option to close it appears, and then the reason box I check is that its offensive. It closes and then comes right back in a few seconds. I would’nt piss on that bitch if she was on fire.
Does that include all of the porno sites on google?
Start tagging everything written by David Brooks, Paul Krugman, all references to John McCain, 90% of the crap on the Huffington, Debbie Wasserschmuck’s site, and the #fakenews at ABCCBSNBCCNN. Oh yeah, and that drama queen Shep Smith.
We the people don’t get to flag things, they will use their panel of experts to do it. Things they flag won’t be ranked as high and won’t display on the first 99 search pages.
