Google is trying to improve the quality of its search results by directing review teams to flag content that might come across as upsetting or offensive.
With the change, content with racial slurs could now get flagged under a new category called "upsetting-offensive." So could content that promotes hate or violence against a specific group of people based on gender, race or other criteria.

I imagine many snowflakes are found curled up in the fetal position and sucking on their thumbs after accidentally viewing “offensive” information on Google. Parents need to block Google so it can’t be viewed by their college aged kids.
What year can i expect police at my door when i do a search such as “muslims suck”?
2021 or so?
Of course. Google in the service of the leftist establishment. This will make it easier for the left to destroy websites created by normal people, like Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, etc.
Fast-track to leftist fascism. Craigslist shows you how totalitarian the mob is when you read some of the “explanations” as to why posts were flagged for “violations”: “I thought he was charging too much”, “His post is too professional looking for Craigslist”, “You shouldn’t be allowed to sell gas guzzlers”. Additionally, the gang-flagging of contractors as a means of limiting competition, for example, is legendary.
Expect all these tactics and infinitely more when it’s not “just” money but ideology to be defended.
As soon as Obama or an acolyte returns to power.
I would imagine Mozilla and others will become more popular soon.
This won’t be abused at all, no sir.
Ugh, a Safe Space filter. Thing is the left includes fact-based opinions in their lists of “offensive speech.” For example, opinions like that the “Wage Gap” can be explained by life choices or that blacks committing more crime accounts for disproportionate shootings of blacks by police are deemed to be offensive speech that marginalizes protected groups, but in fact are demonstrably true facts.
That sword cuts both ways.
