Paul Ryan: House IT Scandal Probe Getting ‘Outside’ Help
dailycaller.com ^ | Luke Rosiac

U.S. Capitol Police are getting “the kind of help they need from other sources” in their criminal investigation of five Pakistani former information technology aides to dozens of House Democrats, according to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

“I wont speak to the nature of their investigation, but they’re getting the kind of technical assistance they need to do that, this is under an active criminal investigation, their capabilities are pretty strong but they’re also able to go and get the kind of help they need from other sources,” the Wisconsin Republican said at the end of a late Wednesday news conference in Washington, D.C.

Ryan provided no further details about the investigation, but his inclusion of “other sources” could refer to digital and evidentiary analytical capabilities possessed by law enforcement agencies like the FBI and various executive branch intelligence assets.

He was referring the probe of Imran Awan, his brothers Abid and Jamal, and two others who provided IT services for Democrats on the House intelligence, foreign affairs and homeland security committees. Their positions gave the five under investigation access to “everything” in the employing members’ IT systems, including their email and office documents.

"... foreign affairs and homeland security committees."

It's very scary that it was this easy and it is shameful. I'm not even mad anymore. I feel like are done. Done from within.

I believe this incident caused the issuance of FISA warrants on the Senate Intelligence Committee. What goes around comes around.

I’ll put money, the outside company is Crowdstrike.
Used by the Dems and can bury anything they find.

There’s much more to this international spy ring than just the Awan brothers but this is a good move in the right direction. A number of actions have been outlined by George Webb in his detailed investigation and reporting on this and related matters and I encourage all FReepers to check out his daily video updates, such as:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9nPwHRDzVY

If you think he’s advancing a conspiracy theory, fine. Let’s just have open and objective investigations of these things and then we’ll know for sure. That’s all he’s asking for. But not investigations like the Hillary-Huma-Clinton investigation being slow-walked by Andrew McCabe at FBI who’s wife accepted a high six-figure payoff from Clinton pal Terry McAulliffe. The swamp will never be drained if the alligators and snakes remain in charge.

It will soon be Spring in the D.C. area. Cherry blossoms in bloom, walks in the park, etc., etc. A great time to have a picnic in the park.

My advice to the Awan brothers? Don’t accept any invitations for a picnic in Fort Marcy park. People tend to get carried out of there, not walk out.

Just sayin’.

Just a few questions to stimulate curiousity to watch Webb’s videos:

- Why were the Awans paid 3 times the mean salary of those in similar jobs?

- Why haven’t we seen their pictures? Since they (and 2 wives) worked in the Longworth Senate Office building there is a paper and photo trail.

- Why has the Capitol Police not released information about the 20 break-ins of Congressional offices?

- Why did the step-mother of the Awans say they held her against her will in a safehouse in VA? And that they hacked her cellphone and were laundering money in Pakistan?

- Why were known cellphone hacking experts staying in the same house?

- Since FBI ass’t director Andrew McCabe admitted “he forgot” to disclose th $675,000 his wife got from Clinton associate and now VA Governor Terry McAulliffe, why has he not recused himself from the Clinton/Huma/Hillary investigation?

- Or why hasn’t AG Sessions re-assigned him?

All these pieces are interconnected. The Awans don’t have to worry about Ft. Marcy Park, they are protected by the Deep State, and besides, they fled to Pakistan with their hard drives, laptops, and thumb drives.

Is this investigation related to any of the Trump campaign-hacking allegations, or is it something different?

It began sounding like a conspiracy theory, but over the months, George has pulled in published, public sources backed by his own knowledge and experience.

Personally, I think is a CIA op aimed at draining intelligence from Congress and utilizing already compromised critters. This isn’t stupidity, it’s malice.

McCabe is the linchpin, IMO.

This sounds like some ongoing investigation that isn’t necessarily related to the alleged wiretapping issues surrounding Trump’s campaign, but it still sounds like a potentially big deal. I have heard nothing about it in the MSM.
