Conservative radio host and best selling author, Michael Savage was left bloodied and shaken after he was physically attacked at a San Francisco restaurant.
The attacker also kicked his 10 lb grey poodle, Teddy who is always with him.
WND reports:
Savage, with his dog, Teddy, was finishing up dinner Tuesday night at Servino Restaurant in Tiburon, California, north of San Francisco, when the unnamed assailant charged up to Savage and began yelling, reported local media blogger Rich Lieberman.
The attacker kicked the poodle out of the way, grabbed Savage and threw him to the ground, according to an eyewitness.
Savage was not seriously hurt, but the incident left him bloodied and shaken, Lieberman said.
Savages attorney, Dan Horowitz, told the blogger he will seek criminal charges.
Were going to seek felony charges against the man, and were going to investigate this as a hate crime because of Michaels political views, Horowitz said.
In a statement to Lieberman, Savage said he was leaving the restaurant when a total stranger followed me out of the restaurant and confronted me.
The man said, Are you Michael Weeeeener? mocking the radio hosts legal name, Weiner.
Savage said: I turned to him and said, Go away, I dont know who you are. I turned to leave and he pushed me and I fell down. He moved toward me to push me down and he shoved my 10-pound poodle out of the way to get to me.
The leftists are the true fascists as they resort to violence whenever a person has a different political opinion than they do. Michael Savage is a 74 year old man. It takes a true coward to attack a man his age.
Dr. Michael Savage has dedicated decades of his life fighting for borders, language and culture. He was the top radio host who helped propel Donald Trump into the Presidency. We are huge supporters of Michael Savage here at TGP as he often links to our articles and cites them live on his radio show to his millions of listeners.
“So...you live in San-FranSissyco?”
No, actually I don’t, I just like the truth to be known. All these “cute” little “descriptors” bigots like you utilize simply serve to show the rest of us that you have the brain the size of a pea (with all due respect to peas). To low-intellect folks like you, cities like San Francisco show up as “monolithic” places where everyone living there conforms to some demented idea you have about the make up of the population. But you have no shame so I expect you to return with your next idiotic rant in a couple of minutes.
I hear this dumb stuff about New York City every day here for 12 years. I don’t get it either.
“Did you read the article?”
Yes, and I failed to see any connection between the attack on Savage and anything remotely connected to homosexuality.
Typical cowardly leftist chicken-s!!! Doesn’t have the guts to fight fair.
Nope. A true conservative would turn and use the leftist weapons against them.
MS should definitely file hate crime charges against his attacker, if he finds out he was attacked because of his political views.
Sorry, but I’ve got to agree with sarah. Whether or not this happened in SF is beside the point. I was born there and used to love the place.
I now consider it a third-world class sh!thole. Ranks right there with New Orleans.
Besides, what is wrong with the poster having an attitude/opinion based on their religious belief?
Yes, Jack, and I am surprised he doesn’t.
“I hear this dumb stuff about New York City every day here for 12 years. I dont get it either.”
Yeah, this guy is in South Carolina, so maybe he lives in a doublewide with outdoor plumbing who practices snake-handling on Sunday. Although I have been to SC and it’s a beautiful place with a bunch of good people living there. It’s just so unworthy of the space to have discussion here on FR to take up bandwidth with mindless bigotry. And sadly, they always want to bring their religion into the discussion as though G-d is somehow “guiding” them to make these unnecessary statements. It’s Ignorance 101!
San Fransicko.
If these knuckleheads want four more years of Trump, this is the way to go.

Well, FWIW, I too was born there back in 1940, and I still love the place, although it’s disheartening to see what has happened to it’s leadership. I guess you haven’t visited in a while because there is simply no comparison with NOLA. NOLA IS a Shit hole. Areas of the city that had been blighted for decades have now been completely made over. I worked on Jerrold Avenue ( near Army St.) in the 1970’s, on the south side of Potrero Hill. There was an ugly PG&E gas holder and a bunch of run down city housing there. Now that’s all gone and you probably could not afford the rents in the buildings that have replaced it all. And all of Third St. has been reborn all the way down to India Basin. Does SF have a $hit government? To be sure, but show me a major city that doesn’t today. At least SF has a vibrant economy unlike Detroit, Baltimore, etc.
As far as bringing religion into the discussion, to use your “beliefs” to foster bigotry isn’t the least bit “Christian.” This guy used the event to conflate his “views” on homosexuality when it wasn’t even a component of what happened.
> Its not like this sort of thing doesnt happen to conservatives everywhere today.
I can absolutely guarantee to you that it doesn’t happen in South Carolina. Soros’ radicals only do this where they know they will get away with it.
“I can absolutely guarantee to you that it doesnt happen in South Carolina. Soros radicals only do this where they know they will get away with it.”
I would be very surprised if you were correct. To suggest that SC isn’t in any way infested with Soros types doesn’t pass the sniff test with me.
Actually, it did happen in San Francisco. The article says he was attacked outside a San Francisco restaurant.
And yes, it is a beautiful city. I actually got lost driving around in it. There are worst places to get lost. However, it’s a shame what people are doing to the place.
I lived in San Franfreakshow back in the mid 70s. Beautiful city back then. Then moved up around Tomales, Two Rock, and down to San Leandro... it was a very different place than what you find today.
When thinking back I can oftentimes hear that Kinks song (later covered by Bowie & Van Halen) “Where Have All The Good Times Gone”. I still throw Dirty Harry on the DVD just to look at the scenery. And for some odd reason Santana’s Zebop album stirs up those days in my mind.
I’ve been back several times through the years, Tomales and Point Reyes are still quite nice.

Nice goalpost move there. It doesn’t matter if they’re here or not; what matters is that if they pull something like this they’ll get shot, and they know it. So they don’t do it.
I’m happy for you that you have pride in the place you live.
I didn’t see that the poster conflated his views on homosexuality with what happened. He apparently just doesn’t like poofters.
Alas, I don’t believe a distaste for, and a disdain of, homosexuality makes one a bigot.
Were the Red Front Fighters who ruled the streets of Berlin in the 1920s also "the true fascists"?
Maybe the SA was wrong about them.
“So...you live in San-FranSissyco?”
Ah no if that was directed towards me. the other person is no doubt a liberal lurker.
On Monday’s show, Savage said he encounter 2 suspicious men. One was in a Macy’s I think, and his dog, Teddy got loose, and some stranger brought him back in a creepy way. Then when he was leaving, a man approached him offering to buy his Land Rover. He said he has never had anyone randomly approach him offering to buy his vehicle.
Are you Michael Weeeeener?..
Well at least antisemitism didn’t have anything to do with it /s
There’s a bunch of Jewish conservative radio guys, I think.
I dont follow radio much but i see the names here.
Glad to see the conservative voice of Jews being heard loudly.
