I may be wrong, but I think I read that many people cannot even use their own land because of all the violence and cartels.

From what I’ve read, people have huge areas of their own property they don’t dare go on to.

I would think they would welcome a wall.

But I haven’t lived in TX in a long time.

I think here in NM that would be the case.

Wasn’t there a couple killed, a few years back, while they were boating or something?

Btw, Mexico, with all due respect, I believe the US won the war with you.

Deal with it.

( that being said, I may be remembering my history wrong)

Build the wall everywhere except on the trouble makers land, so the only places to cross easily are on troublemaker lands

I still live in Texas and your post is 100% correct. Any land taken will be fairly compensated for. Your remaining land will then become more valuable as violent criminals will no longer be crossing it. If you have land on the border and do not wish a wall you are part of a criminal enterprise.

I’ve saw a show on TV where a landowner took his ATV out and went looking for livestock or something and stumbled into a drug deal and got killed.

Lots of Texans are worried about this crap.

I think what you said is true. We used to lease land in south Texas for deer hunting. It got so dangerous with illegals wandering around that we gave up our long time lease.
