We’ve dodged two winter storms in a row. The first was the named Stella and the second looked to be called Rachel, as in Rachel Maddow.
Nature will take its course, but Maddow veered wildly off course last night when the pride of MSNBC announced via social media that she had Donald Trump’s tax returns and would release them at 9 p.m.
As the big moment approached, she clarified that it would be returns from just 2005 that we’d see.

There is a psychosis at work and the left needs professional help.

Trump paid 25% in taxes.
Higher than MSNBC’s parent company Comcast (24%).
Higher than Obama (19%).
Higher than Bernie Sanders (13%).

Great! And, what did it prove? President Trump is a very rich man, what a surprise. He paid a lot of taxes, well he's not in jail so he must have paid a lot of taxes. He paid them at a higher rate than his opponents or RM's employer. Wow, that should do Trump in. Any more of these revelations and Trump's approval rating will top 65%.

David Cay Johnston says that he found the returns in his mailbox. He has a duty to verify that Donald Trump really did send them to him, not just assume it. Without written permission, isn’t it likely that he broke the law by releasing these? If so, I hope Trump goes after him, just to show that the rule of law still exists.

As such, one wonders how Maddow (and her staff) got those first two pages of the return, possibly in violation of Federal law in regards to privacy and disclosure of IRS tax returns.

Could have come from a former disgruntled Trump accountant, attorney, or consultant.
Trump didn’t send this to some no name reporter. He’s got much bigger fish to fry.
