Over the last few weeks yard signs have been cropping up like crocuses in my very liberal north Seattle neighborhood. The one I am talking about spouts every liberal catchphrase you can imagine. It is almost like Moses coming down from Mount Sinai and scattering his Commandments among the Deplorables. Here is a photo I snapped with my $100 smartphone.
But really, this yard sign is a Testament of Lies. Everything on the sign is a lie; it is a list of bullying lies, non-negotiable demands that liberals want to ram down your throat.
But the one that struck me was the sans-serif extra-bold condensed SCIENCE IS REALNo it’s not, liberals, and it just shows how little you know of science that you would think that.
The last chap that thought science was real was Thomas Aquinas. Ever since, we Westerners have been in a complete dither about the real meaning of life, the universe, and everything, and especially reality. First there was Descartes who, like a true Frenchman, could doubt everything except himself: I think therefore I am.
Things went from bad to worse so that when David Hume came along his contribution to the confusion was that we cannot prove cause and effect. So how is science possible?
Enter dear old Kant, who solved the riddle with a cunning trick. We don’t know things-in-themselves, he decided; we only know appearances. Our knowledge, our science, is therefore not real, but a theory about things-in-themselves. And may the best theory win.
This seems pretty lame, but it is not. In my view, it leads straight to Einstein, relativity, and quantum mechanics. If science isn’t real, then it gives us permission to speculate about reality, and dare to propose that Newton’s absolute space and time aren’t real.

To the author (Christopher Chantrill): You just proved the primary difference between the left and the right. You saw a poster whose content was at odds with your sensibilities. Instead of tearing it down and destroying it you took a picture so that you could analyze it.

The better view is that science is real — as long as we recognize its limits. Science cannot explain how I am free to discuss the limits of science. How the universe could create itself out of nothing. How life can emerge from non-life. Etc.

A farmer knows science and will study the terrain to decide what will grow where and what will be built where
Liberal “science” is what the city zones lot as. This is “science” for them, ie anything the government mandates no matter how little sense it makes. Their “science” is dictated by state lead anarchy

Psychiatrists and psychologists know that our mind is capable of lying to us, of convincing us that something that is not factually true, even about ourselves, is true.
Knowing that, we must then understand that “kindness” cannot be “everything”. It can also possibly be a mistake, a means of others taking advantage of you. In such circumstances, too much kindness is understood as naivety, and “everything” should NOT be naivety.
I can testify to the fact that Seattle is one fouled up Place... I took a road trip with my brother last year to go see a cousin in that area... I get the willies when I think about the folks I saw there.... Like no place I've ever been before.... :(

It seems to be a mindset of narcissism of everything that produce these signs.
The Caliph in the day of Muhammad produced these kinds of hadiths in order to fool Jews and Christian and Mohammad followers to worship his house with the threat of death.
Nowadays the force is dark and no caliph in particular is saying it (aside maybe from papers produced in the Soviet Union and current deep Soviet state lingering in Russia as it is in Trump’s admin), it just is a mindset of troll statements manipulating people to denounce others in hate and yet at the same time incorporate for itself all the “love words” invented in the world for temporary consumption before the hammer falls down
Some people do not bug at all in lying all the time. A chick’s feminine power lies in exactly saying and making people believe the exact opposit that she does. She will say “I am nice to this guy” that she ignores or she will feign arguments and false battles with a dude she always is around with.
