After several years of trying, the Arizona State Legislature has just joined 8 other states in passing a Convention of States Resolution calling for a convention to propose amendments to the US Constitution. Today the AZ Senate joined the House in voting for this resolution.

The called-for amendments proposals convention will be mujch more than an academic debate and an appeal as a supplicant to the US Congress.

Article V (Part 2) of the US Constitution gives state legislatures the power to amend the US Constitution without the permission or approval of Congress, the President, or the Supreme Court.

Yes, Article V actually does that. For the details, please see the attached video, go to www.ConventionOfStates.com, and check out the other videos, the FAQs, and the full Convention of States story at that site!

It takes 34 states to apply for a convention, not 38. It takes 38 states to ratify the products of a convention.

He’s talking about federal judges. You’re talking about state court judges. Apples and oranges.

JBS talking points?
I have no idea what that means. Why do people expect everyone knows what initials and acronyms stand for?

Except the John Birch Society turned out to be right about a lot of things.

US Communist infiltration; Globalism; Wealth redistribution; Collectism -— it’s all come to pass.

We owe the JBS an apology.

Apparently, the Leftists think the Constitution was printed on Birch paper...

The problem isn’t the Framers’ wisdom, it’s the lack of wisdom of those who advocate it.

It's not the same Constitution we started with. The Civil War amendments centralized power with the feds to get rid of slavery and now those same amendments are used to justify really bad decisions. Slavery is gone and those obsolete amendments need to go.

The Income Tax was a cancerous addition from day one. It didn't have ANY limit to the amount of theft it could do. It needs to be phased out with a balanced budget amendment.

The direct election of senators was passed by the states because state reps were tired of people paying attention to their elections. It needs to be repealed.

The Court of Supreme Whim was not meant to be the final word and even Jefferson saw that way back when the court seized that power. Congress and/or state legislators need to be the final word.

Believe me we do not want a Convention (Con-Con)
There is or was a Lawrence Tribe YouTube explaining
that such a convention cannot be limited. Yes, he
waited a long while to tell us all.

Tired argument. The convention would do nothing more than produce amendments, which would need to be ratified by 38 theaters to become law.
