Physics conference urges attendees to wear 'pronoun stickers'
Campus Reform ^ | March 13, 2017 | Anthony Gockowski

The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) encouraged attendees of its winter summit to wear “pronoun stickers” in order to “reduce instances of misgendering.”

Organizers of the seasonal gathering were apparently so concerned about the prospect of “misgendering” that they even cautioned participants entering the meeting to “get [their] pronoun sticker!”

If someone can’t come to grips with the objective reality of their plumbing, methinks I don’t want them teaching children the nuanced realities of how the universe operates.

"Call me Schrodinger's Cat."

If you're armed, does that make you "Schrodinger's Gat"?

“pronoun stickers”

I identify by “dearest, most esteemed excellency”. They better make those stickers big enough.

“He/him/his” have always served me well. But I am thinking about resurrecting thee, thou, thy, and thine for when I am addressed directly. They had better use the right one, and they had better change the verbs correctly, or I am going to create a ruckus.

Pronoun: any member of a small class of words found in many languages that are used as replacements or substitutes for nouns and noun phrases, and that have very general reference, as I, you, he, this, who, what. Pronouns are sometimes formally distinguished from nouns, as in English by the existence of special objective forms, as him for he or me for I, and by nonoccurrence with an article or adjective.

Seems like some FReepers need a grammar refresher.

Get these folks OUT of physics and schools NOW.

Science is for those who are far, far beyond the social misfits crowd.

This is another instance where the inept crowd on the SJW side are attempting to infect the one area that has managed to keep low IQ lib arts crowd at bay.

Death to progressives.

LOL, had a gay boss back in the early 2000s a vendor we had to work with had a mixed up person that thought he was a woman, the boss called three of us in and said we had to now call him - her, small argument: he needs help not encouragement, etc., Loretta, an african american that we all loved but had a mouth, said, I want to be called “her royal highness” the boss laughed and she looked at him and said - whats funny?
