Conway suggests surveillance of Trump went beyond phones
NY POST ^ | March 13, 2017 | AP

Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is suggesting that alleged government surveillance of Donald Trump during his campaign may have gone beyond the president’s accusation that former President Barack Obama had his phones tapped.

Conway tells New Jersey’s Bergen County Record “there are many ways to surveil each other.” She says “you can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of ways.” Conway didn’t offer any evidence for the remark.

It follows Trump’s claim that Obama had Trump’s “wires tapped” at Trump Tower before the election. Trump hasn’t provided evidence and Obama has denied the charge.

FBI director James Comey has privately urged the Justice Department to dispute Trump’s claim but has not come forward to do so himself.

A senior congressional aide said Saturday that the House intelligence committee asked the Trump administration to provide by Monday evidence that the phone were tapped, a request reinforced Sunday by an influential Republican, Sen. John McCain.

EXTREMELY FAKE NEWS!

Anyone who reads the quote they published can see that is a general statement and the evidence became a matter of public record about a week ago when it was published by Wikileaks.

Have they been living under a rock or something — of course not, they are competing to try to parse even general, factual statements as crazy talk. Shamelessly dishonest.

I agree that Conway has been less than effective as of late—I also heard Hannity tell her he knew she was working until 11 pm every night, which to be fair, if true, is no way for Trump to work his staff.

Supposedly Trump and Bannon have great stamina for that, but Conway would do better with less than an 80-hour work week.

What I think is unfortunate is that Trump still doesn’t seem to get a good share of the government management game—he should have had hundreds of nominees ready to roll out in the second and third tier positions below the cabinet secretaries from the start, and he needs to to make every one of the approved political hires ASAP. The place to cut is in the bureaucracy, not the few in government who would actually be loyal to and carry out his agenda.

Of course it did. They surveyed to the max with Obama at the controls.

Good comment. That particular article made it clear that NYT knew about the wire tapping. They thought it strengthened their attack on Trump, but it backfired on them.

According to our over paid IT guy,

You have to cut the power to it, use a power strip or simply unplug it.

Same with computers that are ten years old or newer.

Obama has never denied it. His spokesman denied it.

Of course they would deny ordering a tap. It is the FISH court that orders the surveillance, acting on a request.

While Trump may have the evidence, in this case he is using Kellyanne to punk the media, Obama, and John McCain.

Trump has a gift for knowing how the public sees things and what they want.

He also has a gift for knowing how to use that knowledge to punk people that oppose him (including those in the media).

I completely agree - especially with your last paragraph.

It appears this has not been done very effectively which is worrying.

This is where the media is purposely misunderstanding the situation. Trump used the term “wiretap”. He was not wiretapped. But he was listened to. And the CIA won’t allow the disclosure of how he was listened to. Kellyanne also can’t say it. The press KNOWS this. They know that nobody can actually give specifics. And they use this to say that Trump is not giving evidence. This is just one more reason we all know the press is against us. They have taken off the mask, and reveled themselves as the Globalists.

We should play that game:

The NYT said today that John McCain was a senator from AZ, although the paper provided no evidence in support of this claim.

Senator Charles Schumer claimed today, without any evidence, that the senate would continue to discuss healthcare legislation.

It’s fun!

“I think her credibility is shot to pieces these days”

Are you assuming that she’s just pulling this stuff out of her head? I think Trump & Co. is stirring the pot, accelerating a reaction that will ultimately blow crap all over the room.

From your lips to God's ear.....

Juan McShame needs to get bitch slapped by Trump in a very public way.

I wish some one could produce something that would ruin Juan's DC career or at least make him put a zipper on it.

Wait- the House intelligence committee is supposed to be investigating

Remember it being said a lot that he gets up and watches the morning shows for two hours every morning? Maybe he set a surveillance trap and things he said/did to bait them in front of the TVs showed up quickly in intel/investigations. This tapping would have happened in Manhattan mostly. Southern District of NY, specifically where Preet operated.

And he would have tape of what/when they were surveilling him.
