Someone needs to kick him out of his position. Put Newt in. Paul should be stuck licking dirt off shovels used for manure farmers.

“There will be a bloodbath if they pass Obamacare Lite.”

Right - I think that’s more like it.

Wasn’t it Ryan who also has pushed amnesty more than a couple times to ‘save the GOP’ because if we don’t kowtow to illegals, we’ll forever lose to Democrats?

It is not especially surprising that Ryan’s resorted once again to doomsday predictions to push what is essentially a liberal plan.

You don’t seem to have a grasp on the situation.

Read up a bit.

Ryan foresees ‘bloodbath’ if GOP fails to pass healthcare legislation>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am sure the world will end if Ryan and his cronies’ PACs do not get those big money contributions from the Insurance and Pharma Corporations.

But what Ryan doesn’t realize is that money no longer matters.
President Trump proved that. Its the representation of the people that matters.

Ryan: DO WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT! STOP SCREWING AMERICA!

LIFT the state lines to competition! NOW!

I have never seen such foolishness , allegedly driven by legislative process (reconciliation.) We do not want reconciliation via amendment! WE WANT REPEAL.

IF NO REPEAL WE WANT OPEN MARKET COMPETITION!

In this case the problem is not “not enough votes” but “legislators having been bribed”.

Ryan should be in jail as should all his cronies and “donors”.

Ryan’s RINO-Care is Crony-Baloney

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3533863/posts

Ready to ‘hear’ something completely insane?

The Establishment is actually claiming that competition across state lines would increase taxpayer spending.

When you hear something that wacko it’s either to ‘punish the USA’ or to ‘reward cronies’.

Just imagine cronies getting to buy up desperate insurance companies. Most current healthcare insurance companies would pull out their fingernails for a little cash. Buy them up and you get all of their vital research DIRT CHEAP ... and then?

You get to enjoy a statewide monopoly to boot.

Those who have plenty of money but no talent or business savvy can simply buy into record profits by calling key congress critters and greasing a few palms.

It’s just ‘Crony-Boloney’.

Note the way McConnell and Ryan planned this.

1. To maintain any kind of safety net in healthcare, you need an army of lawyers. The largest legal army the government has is the DOJ.

Isn’t it interesting that Sessions was held back from confirmation, and on the same week that he fires Obama holdouts is the very week that RyanCare gets launched?

I’d be surprised if Trump had a trusted sizeable legal team in place to review RyanCare. IMHO, he was blitzed at the same time we are.

Ryan set the schedule. Ask Hannity, who interviewed him when Sean H visited DC. Ryan told him he would start with healthcare reform in March and after that tax cuts.

And, if there’s any chance with working with a House Speaker, it doesn’t pay to personally embarrass him. Trump absolutely needs tax cuts, but Ryan is clearly holding our economy hostage — either he gets his healthcare or he threatens total war.

“Trump needs to learn on this bill not to betray the deplorables and the country like this or he will have nothing but one deplorable term — for which sleazy Ryan will be the de facto president.”

Trump isn’t betraying anyone. I heard almost every Trump rally, and he’s doing exactly what he promised to do all along.

Priebus and Pence (and in this case Price) IMO are right in there doing Ryan’s work from inside the Trump team.

But it is still insulting that after all the considered earfuls Trump has got on the bill from the likes of Cruz and Paul, and all the claims of “listening”, he is still trying to ram this through by making the same kind of ridiculous claims for Obamacare 2.0 that Obama made for 1.0.

‘I don’t think we are getting the whole story.’

I agree.

Churchill hated communism, but he needed Stalin. Ryan might be Trump’s Stalin, and that’s a tricky ‘ally’ to work with.

Do not settle for anything less than full and complete repeal. If you can't get that from congress, then veto whatever they send up (rinse and repeat as necessary) and if they fail eventually to send up a clean repeal bill then sign nothing and let Obamacare implode on its own.

If they override your veto, then they own the disaster that follows and you will still have your credibility and your support base. And we are prepared to fight these evil socialist bastards until hell freezes over if necessary.

Bears repeating over, and over, and over. President Trump holds all the cards on this one. He either gets what he campaigned on (a FULL REPEAL of Obamacare!) or he sticks the GOPe and Establishment Politicians with the mess and Obamacare/Ryancare implodes on its own.

President Trump will then have the moral and political high-ground to call for primarying ALL Republicans and Democrats alike in 2018.

Sounds like a Win-Win position to me!

Ryan sets the schedule this year — tax cuts are next on the House docket. If Trump fails to jump through his hoops, then Ryan will try to sabotage tax cuts.

Without tax cuts, what happens to our economy? If our economy and federal revenue dry up, how do we pay doctors?

Even with competition, you’re gonna have failing, non-insurance insurance markets as long as you have guaranteed issue and community rating—two key components of Obamacare that the have kept in 2.0.

About the only acknowledged “stinker” they seem ready to ditch from Obamacare is the only good element to it—and that was beginning to tax employer-provided plans like regular income.

That tax deductability is a major wrench in the market that has led to every last shred of healthcare being covered under “insurance”. And making the majority of the private side of the market dependent on third-party payers (the already socialized Medicare and Medicaid are also by definition third-party payers) just leads to massive cost explosion—akin to government funding of student loans in higher ed.

“All I care about is Repeal.”

And how do you assure today’s voters that there’s a safety net for the poor?

President Coolidge died a few years back, and schools/hollyhood/musicians have been indoctrinating our young for over half a century.

We can win this war against socialism, but first we must change hearts and minds.

One way is with wedge issues:

If a healthy guy deliberately chops off his leg for disability — I think an uber-majority would agree with me — he should be blackballed from all government aid. Let charities privately funded help him. Kick him to the curb.

Wedge Issue — grossly self-inflicted injuries, the worst of the worst of the worst.

Maybe some folks might take pity on someone who weighs 450 pounds and can’t walk due to weight. But what about the fat slob who weighs 700 pounds? Should he get on disability? Should he get a government-funded scooter and other perks? Not in my book. He knowingly ate himself into that mess. Cut him off.
