Lots of congressional swamp dwellers and citizens alike are entirely missing the point re: REPEAL!

A whole lot of congressional swamp dwellers and citizens alike are entirely missing the point regarding a complete and final repeal of Obamacare. How soon they forget the outrage of we the people when Obamacare was forced down our throats and then a redoubling of that outrage when Chief Justice Roberts failed to uphold the constitution and toss it out. Have they forgotten why the tea party sprang up and why we drove out packs of rats and herds of RINOs in the last several election cycles?

We the self-sufficient free citizens of America do not want a federal takeover of our healthcare system! Period! We want Obamacare fully repealed and the government out of it, forever!! It doesn't matter how "great" a system Ryan and company may design, it's a government system and it leaves the door wide open for the next congress and the next administration to screw it and us up royal!

Repeal every damn steenking word of it and drive a constitutional stake through its heart so it can never rise again!

That's why we elected Republican majorities and a Republican president! To dump Obamacare and scrap any and all federal roadblocks to private companies competing and designing health care programs that our citizens can willingly purchase (or not purchase) on our own without government interference!

No government controls over what must be included in any policy. For example, if the industry learns that there is a market for low cost policies with high deductibles and no coverage requirements for abortion, birth control, gender change, pediatrics, routine office visits, etc, ie, the customers are interested in INSURANCE not a full service plan, then they will provide it and plans tailored like this to meet customer actual needs will insure more people and will keep overall costs down in the long run.

Americans do not want and have never wanted cradle-to-grave government protection or control over our lives. We've known for a long time that the less government there is, the better off we are. Thus the American concept of LIMITED government.

Our constitution clearly reserves governance of health insurance policies, private contracts, health care providers, etc, to the states and the people. Congress must get out and stay OUT!!

And that means providing for poor people too. Our federal government was never intended to be a provider for the poor. If the people wish their local and state governments to provide hospitals, clinics, doctors and or insurance plans for the poor, that's their business, but none of the fed's. Our constitutional limits on the federal government forbids it.

Again, we do not want our congressional representatives interfering in our private health care systems. Period!

Repeal Obamacare and be done with it! If any other federal roadblocks to free markets can be removed, allowing competition over state lines, for example, go for it!

But otherwise no federal control or meddling!

Set our people and our markets free!!

I pray Trump understands that we voted him in to SLASH and BURN the Fed power. Not just right the fed ship.

Because some day a dem will be at the helm again. Even if it’s 20 years.

And that’s bad.

Healthcare for kids till they’re 26? Why not 40?

Maternal/paternal/grandpaternal leave. 5 weeks? What is that.

You want to have a kid go ahead, have 10. Two weeks for mom is plenty and none for dad.

Yes. They did not include everyone in the conversation. It must be repealed.

Fix the $60 BILLION in Medicare fraud and waste while you are at it. That goes for Medicaid and VA. And you should be a US Citizen who pays or paid those taxes. Put congress on the SAME PLAN! Unless a 18 yr old is disabled they come off parents plan, they are then considered adults.

Affordable Care Act actually gets to $716 billion in Medicare funds.

The $272 billion swindle
http://www.economist.com/news/united-states/21603078-why-thieves-love-americas-health-care-system-272-billion-swindle

We have Tenncare in TN forerunner of Romneycare, for the poor, it’s been downsized 4 times because it was bankrupting the state as more fraud, waste, and illegals/refugees were put on it.

Why should a person with anxiety hooked on Xanax go to the head of the DSSI line over a person who needs a heart transplant?

I agree with you 100%, Jim. But here's the problem in a nutshell:

Most Americans want access to a Lamborghini standard of health care, but they're only willing to pay for a Ford.

The Republican leadership knows this better than anyone. They've been in politics for a long time.

Not enough districts Cantorized their weasels.
If there more Dave Brats in Congress, Paul Ryan would not be Speaker and Ryancare wouldn’t be a thing.

Correction to things:

1) People had their property stolen for an illegal, unconstitutional program called ‘MediXYZ’. They called it a tax, in order to further the facade of legality (IE: it’s being ‘paid’ for).
2) Stole? He took from left pocket and put into right pocket. What matters how which unconstitutional program is ‘funded’??
3) Restore the Constitution and give the People their property, Rights and Freedoms back. It shouldn’t be difficult as the ‘programs’ were never valid to begin.

As to hardball, can you point to *any* recent cases of the (R)NC\GOP(e) playing? PP, NPR, Exec. Amnesty, O’Care...all ‘promises’ (after they passed said bills they knew would never get signed) *IF* they won D.C. Now they have it, and....???

AG Sessions can do a LOT to help restore the Republic; should Trump allow AND Mr. Piddles doesn’t immediately roll upon his back ala ‘Russian ties’.

You either believe in the Market system, or you don’t. I do. You either believe in your system of Government or you don’t. I do. But neither system can be believed in by the people if there is no transparency in their actions. Solve that problem if you can.

Roy from Forbes made a good point. The part of Obamacare that is increasing the cost of Healthcare is regulations.

Ryancare does nothing about regulations because regulations cannot be part of the gimmick they are using, which is limited to budget issues of taxes and spending.

Obama set the precedent of granting waivers to regulations to privileged groups. Trump-Price-Verma should grant a waiver to everyone. Make all regulations voluntary.

After doing that, Congress will then be facing a totally different and more manageable picture of taxes and spending.

It’s beyond missing the point. It’s ignoring the Constitution for political/monetary gain. IOW, business as usual.

Before Obamacare took over, I always paid at the front desk
as I left after a doctor’s visit. It was a reasonable
amount. After O-care took over, they didn’t want my measly
pittance of a check & computerized everything. THEN, the
cost of an office visit skyrocketed as of about two years
ago. Even the doctor only communicated with me through his
computer screen (for fear he was going to omit some Obama
edict or the other). I don’t expect somebody else to pay
my bills. I just was not raised to hang out on the doorstep
of the doctor’s office. :o(

Obamacare was and is nothing more than the Democrats plan to expand health coverage to their plantation residents of illegals, welfare queens and millennials living in Mom’s basement.

They could only pay for this by stripping the working folks of their health coverage and making them pay more in taxes because we all had too much white privilege anyway.

No republicans voted for this because they didn’t have to. It was the uniparty’s method to ensure that there was an opposition in name only.

Now, the proposals are to expand the Medicaid portion to an even greater number of folks to gain the Democrats’ support. This is just the flip side of the uniparty coin.

Ultimately, you will be sitting in the ER waiting room for the 7th hour and watching ambulance crews, police units, doctors, nurses and hospital personnel rushing around to save a gang banger who got shot in a botched drug deal while his baby mama socks a big wad of cash in her purse and pulls out his Medicaid card for his free treatment while you hope and pray that those chest pains you are experiencing are nothing more than the spicy burrito you had for lunch and the stress of knowing that you will soon be dealing with a debt recovery company for the $2,000 that your high deductible policy did not cover for your ER visit.

At first I was confused. But now that more is reveled this Ryan crap is really a huge pile of crap. Hope it gets crashed.

What we need is total removal of Obamacare. The hell with a replacement by Government. The insurance industry already has health care plans and never totally lost them. There must be certain additions to their plans like preexisting plans. There never will be a totally acceptable plan, but nothing is perfect. It up to the citizens to work at finding the best plan for them. Or are those that are too stupid to find one.

Doesn't need a single Rat vote to Repeal it. It was done in 2015 by unanimous GOP House and Senate vote via Reconciliation. It fulfilled all the arcane Senate rules. Obama vetoed it. Do the same now and Trump will sign it. THEN we can debate how to improve healthCARE without the Sword of Obamacare hanging over our heads.

Still go after the DNC, although they aren't the problem here, RINOs are.
