Great, so because the deaf can't hear the lectures, none of us get to hear them anymore.Most deaf students have voice recognition technology on their computers that would allow them to "hear" these lectures. I have it and I ain't even deaf.
This ruling is insane.

This ruling is insane. Actually, it makes perfect sense in complying with the ADA; one of the most horrid pieces of legislation ever signed into law.

There may be other reasons. Many of the more radical professors don’t want what they say to their students heard outside of the classroom. If some of it ever made public, the outcry would be enormous.
