In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint says after meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, he believes the president seems very serious when it comes to listening to concerns from conservatives over the new GOP healthcare bill. “He seemed a lot more receptive than the word we had gotten from the House that this was the bill, take it or leave it,” DeMint tells us. DeMint spoke with me Thursday afternoon in DC.

They can’t. The House and Senate have to repeal and it will take 60 votes in the Senate to repeal. Good luck with that. They have said repeatedly they will not change the 60 vote threshold.

The stuff he’s selling is herbal cleansing 101. It’s not a cure for anything much less everything. No herbalist with more than five year’s experience would think it’s anything but baby talk.

.
You’re obviously unfamiliar with his career.

He is in retirement now because he is weary of the attacks.

Oh brother. You are in complete denial. Trump himself said he was going to take care of everybody and that he did not want anyone to die in the streets. He said he was going to take care of everybody hundreds of times and that he would not lie to us. So, that means the replacement will have subsidies for those who can’t afford insurance, most likely in the form of vouchers. That is still market based, so you should still be happy.

Alas, the Constitution prohibits the recall of a Senator.

We have a non-profit clinic run by donations and free services offered by physicians and surging called Neighborhood Christian clinic in near downtown Phoenix...they care for the poor and uninsured and it is a wonderful example of true Christian love and compassion without gov’t interference....Seems to me that clinics like this would help solve the problem instead of the gov’t which again is what our founders believed in.

If Trump is willing to work with Rand Paul, that is very good news.

President Trump became "President" Trump because citizen voters rejected the watered down ideas of "establishment Republicans" like McConnell and Ryan.

Those citizens will now and in the future hold President Trump responsible for any further watering down of their demands to repeal and replace "Obamacare"--a concept which was and is a Progressive Trojan Horse hiding the Progressive attempt to take over significant portion of the U. S. economy.

Now is the time to remind the President that, if he wants to create jobs, opportunities, and freedom for America--Make America Great Again--then he must open up that Progressive Trojan Horse, show it for what it is, explain it to the American people, and put the pressure on Ryan and McConnell so that the Legislative Branch is not allowed to overpower, appropriate, and dilute the wishes of "the People" who elected him, not the "establishment," to carry out their wishes!

President Reagan would have done no less!
