“Environmental Justice” = Crock of Crap
he has or had a top position , good grief. What ever happened about looking respectful?
I just recently finished an Environmental Report per NEPA regulations for a client chasing federal money for their project. The report contains the cause and effect of the project on wildlife, water (rivers, lakes, wetlands), noise, lighting, transportation, etc.
Environmental Justice is code for how will the project affect (negatively or positively) the lives of minorities near the project. It has nothing to do with Environmental Protection! In the report I had to come up with negative scenarios and then explain positive benefits.
For instance we had to justify the increase in traffic which, in this case, is offset because it moves the new services this project will bring to a more central location and makes it easier on the minority populations.
I didn't know the purpose of the EPA is validate the
minority community's concerns and value their lives. Foolish
me thought it was to protect the environment.
Sounds like this "Environmental Justice Head" thought
that the EPA was supposed to be a cash register for gibsmedats.

I pray we are seeing the end of Governments’ primary function of being an employer for otherwise un-employable people.
Wow.
Not only was this waste product sucking up oxygen that could have been better used by others, but he was actually being paid!
Clearly, a thorough clean up is overdue.
We need to have repeated waves of downsizing and reorganizations to shake this crap out.

Is he resigning, or retiring? They are different things.
If you resign, you are not retiring. If your retire, you have not resigned.
He was involved in starting the program in 1992. That was 24 years ago. He must have been in the system for a while.
He was born in Sao Paulo Brazil and was an aide to Congressman John Conyers for a couple of years.
I have not been able to find his age.
If anyone could find his age and years of government service, it would nice to know.
Anything with “Justice” in the title simply means, “Pay up, suckah!”
I’m guessing “Environmental Justice Head” is a job title that is going to go unfilled.

“Environmental justice” is not even in the category of error, it is indeed a nonsense phrase like a “moral stone”.

If it’s such an important project, you might want to stay in the EPA where you have a better position to argue for keeping funding. Or at least to do the most possible in this “important” area with whatever funding is left. Of course that assumes that there is an argument for why this is important and it’s not just about making people feel good while doing nothing.
Don’t need an environmental justice program anyway. WTH is that anyway?

Good, one less EPA advocate to fire. Pruitt should put a lifetime hiring freeze on the EPA. Repeal them but don’t replace them until the building is emptied out and we can cut off the utilities as the last act of the EPA to conserve energy.

He's got a phony transcript, resume or some unanswered items on a police record that he didn't want looked at too closely.
No Ali started the program in 1993.
