O say can you see, the Statue of Liberty?
A portion of Lady Liberty mysteriously went dark save for the iconic colossal's torch and crown on Tuesday night.
The statue was cast in darkness for at least an hour around 11 p.m. and even the National Park Service seemed perplexed by the New York harbor’s black void.
“Some lights on the Statue were temporarily off tonight,” a spokesman for the Statue of Liberty National Monument tweeted.
The “unplanned outage” may have been due to emergency generator project as part of its “last remaining Hurricane Sandy recovery,” but park official Jerry Willis could not be certain. He added that crews would return to Liberty Island on Wednesday morning and determine the cause of the blackout. The lights turned back on just after midnight.

Sounds like a moonbat stunt, although I don’t think they are smart enough to pull it off.
Immigrants seeking welfare and the destruction of America are quite different than the immigrants that helped make this country what it is.
My first thought is it is an “inside conspirator” using that blackout as a signal for something, and hopefully not devious. Could be terrorism or worse. Let us pray for the security and protection of our country and president. Trump has many people worried and it’s a matter of time before they will start lashing out at him personally.
