Ex-Secret Service agent: Media missing 1 huge wiretap point
WND ^ | 3-6-2017 | Paul Bremmer

'The FBI's not going to tell the Secret Service if they're monitoring the president-elect'

“The Secret Service does ECM sweeps, electronic counter-measures, where they go in frequently and look for listening devices, radio frequencies, all kinds of things to make sure the president or president-elect is not being, in fact, wiretapped or listened in on on specific phone lines,” Bongino revealed.

The former agent, noting Trump had Secret Service protection as a candidate, thinks it’s much more likely the Secret Service discovered something while performing one of their ECM sweeps of Trump Tower and later found out it was the DOJ that had ordered the surveillance.

After the events of the past Clapper, Comey and all the Obama holdovers cannot be considered credible, only a full investigation by Congress has a chance of vindicating the President.

A bug on the line? What is this, the 1950s? They present a warrant (or even a wink and a nudge) to AT&T and the all of the phone lines from Trump Tower are duplicated into some black box for later analysis.

If the conversation you are interested in is only done PERSON TO PERSON in a room in Trump Tower, all the winks and nudges to AT&T won't help at all.

It requires a listening/recording/transmission device in or on the outside of the room.

That is a possibility and was mentioned earlier here of FR. Let us also not forget that Rudy Giuliani was hired by Trump for Cybersecurity. Plenty of possibilities out there as to where Trump got his information.

I am similarly inclined to believe 0bama loyalists were eavesdropping on ALL calls going to/from Trump Tower so they can act like it was not specifically directed at President Trump.

The thing is any intelligence agency doing the wiretapping would know the Secret Service would be doing that

I wonder if the Secret Service was ordered not to disclose anything they found to Trump...But that would change once Trump was the boss on January 20th

Didn't some Secret Service people get canned once Trump got in?

I really think Obama and the Dem and even GOPe Trump hater were highly embolden to do just about anything, to really push the envelope because they were so sure they were going to win

Remember these people wanted to not just beat Trump they wanted to destroy him and his whole movement after the election

I think the globalist thought this was the moment for the final push to really destroy any opposition forever. They didn't just want Trump beat... they wanted his head on a pike and all its followers strung up in disgraced

My bet is they really went for broke with what they were doing

To further clarify (or make muddier), it’s not just one ‘thing’ that the Obama/Hillary/DNC/MSM did.

I believe they bugged his offices, they bugged the White House, they tried to hack his emails, they tried to hack the RNC, they monitored all phone calls of all his staff, they monitored use of all cell phones of his staff, and they had the MSM and private investigators, and the FBI, CIA, DHS shove their fingers up the *sses of Trump and his staff.

In otherwords, it is much, much worse than is even being claimed or admitted to.

You can bet Trump Tower doesn’t have black dial phones anymore...most modern voice communications are digital, likely VoIP, and lawful intercepts (after a court order authroizes them) involve directing the cable company, phone company, ISP, etc to direct the communications data so authorized to the monitoring point. It’s more like forwarding email than some guy clipping alligator clips onto a punchdown block like you saw in the movies in the 60s. All it takes is software...and that pesky court order.

My late father was one of the men at the frame at Southern Bell in Miami tapping the lines way back when. That was their only job.

It requires a listening/recording/transmission device in or on the outside of the room.

I'm pretty sure a crafty spook-geek could transform your average desk phone into a handy-dandy surveillance "bug".

Re “It requires a listening/recording/transmission device in or on the outside of the room”.

Maybe I’ve been watching too many crime, war, and SciFi shows but I’ve heard that you can actually use an existing electrical wiring system to eavesdrop by internally turning on a radio, phone, etc. That becomes the listening device and picks up sounds in the room which are then transmitted back along the electrical wiring to a machine that can record them.

Anybody ever heard of this technique or am I watching too many Mystery Theater 3000 shows?

Do you have a clue or what .. the Secret Service has tools not many people have. And, they can electronically monitor a phone and tell if there is electronic surveillance on the phone. And, as was noted in the story - Rudy G has a ready-made company which does surveillance, security, etc. Since his friend is named “Donald”, I suspect he was called in to find out who was tapping Donald’s phone.

I’d trust the Secret Service long before I’d trust the FBI or CIA.

The Presidentbshouldn’t have to be vindicated. The onus is on the Obama administration.

You would be correct. EMI filtering of the power supply is required and EMI screens on all openings in a shielded secure facility. I wouldn’t say squat in the Oval office. The Oval office windows are a big concern to me. There are much more powerful directional microphones today.

One point to keep in mind that makes this guys point a little less relevant.

The NSA does not often rely on physical bugs or listening devices to capture conversation and/or electronic communications like we see in the movies. Big brother does their “tapping” at the phone company nodes, in the server farms for internet service providers, the cellular phone company networks, and just about every type of communication node that exists to include satellites.

In fact, if Snowden and many others are to be believed - they can activate your cellular phone or computer to act as a microphone. Creepy isn’t it?

For all we know at this point it could have even been one of the SS agents themselves in on it to help the democrats. This is all such a huge mess and shows that the swamp needs to be drained completely or we’re going to lose our govt.

The windows of the oval office are designed to defeat eavesdropping. There was an article I read long ago (maybe popular mechanics) that talked about how they could make the windows to defeat what you are describing. I think they set them to vibrate where a person in the room does not notice it to defeat this, but I cannot remember the exact science.

I thought I was the only one who was starting to believe that. I agree .. I really think they were in total shock when they lost the election. That kind of psychological shock can cause you to do the strangest things.

I can hardly wait for Bongino’s story to hit the wire tomorrow. Maybe we should help that along by highlighting it for them to find in the morning ..???
