I can see the secret service agent ordered to plant the bugs asking Trump “where would you like me to put this one sir”. Funny as hell. Secret service used to be the best of the best and straight shooters. No politics.

PJ2, as you point out, tapped and bugged have for all practical purpose the same meaning in a world that has more than 7 billion cell phones, with the United States having more cell phones than people. Much like people continuing to use “dial” when such devices are rarer than hen’s teeth.
Without ceding greater intelligence to our security services and their legal Beagles, it might be fair to assume that they are aware of now decades old technology and act accordingly.

I saw the video of Clapper when he was questioned the time he is accused of lying (forget what it was), but when he answered the question, to me, he sure looked like he was telegraphing that he was saying “no” under duress. His body language was of a man who was scared. He’s covering somebody (obama?)who is a threat to him.

Granpa, when Trapper said that “No Sir” his body language screamed he was lying, but it also revealed that he was under stress. He looked frightened. What does the thug have on him?
Wasn't it Rudy who came out and said he was asked by Trump how to keep Muslims out of the country? That remark was later used against Trump, particularly when it came to the refugee ban from those 7 countries. Perhaps Rudy is now persona non grata. Would be nice to know the real story, as hard as he worked to help Trump get elected.
