Well. That makes about as much sense as anything does to me these days.
I have tried my entire life to understand politics enough to feel that I can understand issues well enough to take a reasoned stand on them, but I swear, this stuff makes me feel incapable of it.
I look at this stuff, turn it around in my head, think about it driving to and from work, read books, listen to audiobooks, apply my life experiences, then as I pull a lever to cast my reasoned vote, some crack-head pull the lever next to me and cancels my vote.
I am trying to grasp this stuff and find myself failing at it. It is frustrating.
All I know for certain is that Trump is acting in ways that accomplish two things: First, he makes liberal heads explode, and second, he is doing what he said he was going to do.
I guess that is going to be good enough for me. I think too much to be able to wrap my brain around these things.
The other day it occurred to me: Trump doesn’t give a rat’s patootie if any of the things he tweets are true or not. He is just doing it to poke his fingers in their eyes, and as they shriek and hop around in pain and outrage, he goes back to work on that big pile of papers on his desk in the Oval Office, chuckling the entire time. It is as if he just does it to distract them and get them out of his hair.
Nahhhhhhhh. Couldn’t be.
Sigh. I have never viewed myself as the sharpest knife in the drawer, but realistically, I know I am not the dullest one either. But this stuff makes me feel like a butter knife that someone has taken a grinding wheel to at right angles to the cutting edge.

I do agree with “John Wick of Politics” on Twitter that the libs were going to leak stuff out to destabilize Trump’s administration, so he cut them off at the knees with “I’ve been bugged” and now they can’t use ANYTHING without it confirming Trump’s claim.

Still can't figure out why Comey is still there, but have a feeling he may be instrumental in turning the tide so Trump is on the attack and the rest are on their heels.
Perhaps a deal is being made to get everything Comey knows in return for a pardon.....
