I read on another site (Breitbart comments) that Comey dropped the investigation on Hillary because she knew about the FBI taps and was blackmailing him. Who knows for sure. I also read that Bill Clinton called in favor to Lynch (since he appointed her to judgeship way back when) to do the tap so perhaps Lynch did it without Comey’s knowledge? Hillary tweeted about the tap on 10/31/16. How did she know about it?
I dont recall the FBI being pointed as the ones who were doing the surveillance President Trump tweeted about.

For the record, Team Trump has gone dark on me for over a week, and specifically any queries I EVER had about Comey were not responded to.

I don’t recall the FBI being “institutionally” offended when the NY Times on JAN 19, 2017, mentioned the wiretapping of Trump being reported to the White House.
