EXCLUSIVE: FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties To Russia [2016]

Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia.

Contrary to earlier reporting in the New York Times, which cited FBI sources as saying that the agency did not believe that the private server in Donald Trump’s Trump Tower which was connected to a Russian bank had any nefarious purpose, the FBI’s counter-intelligence arm, sources say, re-drew an earlier FISA court request around possible financial and banking offenses related to the server. The first request, which, sources say, named Trump, was denied back in June, but the second was drawn more narrowly and was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank. While the Times story speaks of metadata, sources suggest that a FISA warrant was granted to look at the full content of emails and other related documents that may concern US persons.

The FBI agents who talked to the New York Times, and rubbished the ground-breaking stories of Slate ( Franklin Foer) and Mother Jones (David Corn) may not have known about the FISA warrant, sources say, because the counter-intelligence and criminal sides of the FBI often work independently of each other employing the principle of ‘compartmentalization’.

The FISA warrant was granted in connection with the investigation of suspected activity between the server and two banks, SVB Bank and Alfa Bank. However, it is thought in the intelligence community that the warrant covers any ‘US person’ connected to this investigation, and thus covers Donald Trump...

How much do you know about Mr. Nixon's early years in the House and in the Senate and when he was a VEEP?

I suggest that you read up on those years.

Trusting David Corn is like asking Dracula to guard the blood bank.

Weird leftist little turn, he be.

I hope that you now always listen to your wife. :-)

It is against my nature but since I was told that I owe my life to her, I do try to listen to her more. Before my surgery I asked the surgeon if they could just give me some antibiotics and let me come back to get things sewn up after the infection cleared up.

This seemed like a reasonable suggestion to me. When the doctor told me I was going to die if I didn't have surgery right then, I assumed he was just trying to win the argument. But what kind of rebuttal can you come up with for that one? So it is slightly possible that my problem does go a little beyond normal stubbornness.

That is a very interesting story about your grandfather. Most people do not realize how much medical care has progressed in just the last hundred years.

He actually had that operation in the late 1800s. :-)

What, you never heard anything about burst appendix nor appendicitis and how dangerous that all is?

Never saw a movie about Houdini, nor seen a program dealing with his life and how he died? WOW !

Sounds like you have read the book “Silent Coup” by Len Colodny - an excellent and well-documented book. Yeah - Nixon was hood-winked by Dean, but the real coup was by the Pentagon.

Hmm - talking about the Pentagon and military promoting things to get Nixon out of office - that was due to internal conflicts iirc between Nixon and the State Department (Kissinger) going around the Pentagon on some things.

It sounds like Trump is facing similar power struggles with the FBI, the NSA(?) and all of the other alphabet agencies that have obama people in the top levels. One would like to think that in the USA that when the people have spoken (by elections) that the ruling class would listen.

I know that we have the “balance of power” or whatever it is called with the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches so wisely set forth by our Founding Fathers, but I wonder - did they ever imagine the power that all of these other, un-elected people would have? I suppose so as I’m sure Great Britain had their share back in the day - in fact I guess it is in the Declaration of Independence perhaps:

“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.”

I knew about appendicitis and Houdini and was taught to recognize the symptoms during EMT training. But everyone I saw during my career suffering from appendicitis was always complaining of extreme pain. In my case it didn't hurt that bad; I had even been going to work. The doctors told me that for some reason I just had a much higher tolerance for pain. They had to cut me from hip to hip to clean out my entire abdominal cavity but I didn't need any pain meds the morning after the surgery. I wasn't trying to be tough; it just didn't hurt very much. The originally told me that I would need to stay in the hospital for a week, but since my wife is a nurse they let me go after two days.

Wait a minute... FISA deals with intelligence, and warrants are there for the asking. They're talking about a criminal matter, which requires a higher burden of proof for issuing warrants.

Russia or not, WTF is the FBI doing asking a FISA Court for a warrant in regards to a criminal matter?

It’s not just a question of Obie’s actions. How many gov employees were in the know about the info and leaked it to Hillary?

“How dare an international business mogul do business in Russia.”

The only honorable dealings with Russia involves selling them our uranium and giving Bill Clinton a commission for half a million dollars.

Nevertheless, this is the best election ever.

Trump is lancing the boil(s), and the corrupt pus from decades of Uniparty misrule is bubbling to the surface.

Trump is President, and the Uniparty is now in a battle for its life. It’s illegalities and madnesses are being exposed to the sunlight.

It’s a battle. A huge battle between loyal, truthful Americans and vile slaves of evil. But we have won a colossal victory just to be able to force this battle and put the left’s backs against the wall.

The war for humanity has entered the ‘Battle of Stalingrad’ stage. But that doesn’t diminish Trump’s colossal accomplishment in just getting to this stage.

Cordially

The FBI changed its FISA application from “criminal” to “foreign intelligence.”

I still have a Nixon / Agnew badge.. round metal about 2 1/4
inches across which through “prismatic magic” shows Nixon
when viewed from one angle and Agnew from another.

The magic doesn’t work so well anymore, but it is what it is.

‘Course I was just a punk kid at the time but my folks
were (and remain) a good influence on me. ;-)

This nation is not disintegrating.

Trump is completely comfortable in this paradigm. It is part of his strategy. Everyone else feels the storm while he walks through the eye, totally comfortable in his own skin.

Oh yes, I did read “SILENT COUP” and a few other books about Mr. Nixon as well, besides some of the books he wrote. I also lived through all of it ( was truly cognizant of him and as I said, “followed” him...reading about him in the papers of the time and seeing him on T.V. ), so I have my own “eyewitness” recollections.
